A decent condition one should make around 15psi. Google matey matey for a general idea about the g60. I'd def say try and get hold of a second hand one that been recently rebuilt and spend the spare on a charge cooler. Might make your polo a bit of a handful though, I imagine it's pretty mental in the wet as it is

Delete the carbon canister, run a cold air feed through where it used to sit. K and n panel filter and desnorkle it is the most common way to fettle with it. Makes a bit more noise but nothing daft, helps it breathe too.

Haha I wouldnt dare do 200 in corrado! Having said that it would prob break down before it got there

Double bummer! Not alot that can be done then. Feel for you mate, they're getting hard to come by. For what a 1.8t costs nowadays you might want to look down that route instead. Still pennies to be made out of what you have left in the bay -

Bad times, where did you buy it from? Got a receipt for the rebuild? -
****ers. Science is on your side they can match paint nowadays. I assume you have already rang your insurance to tell them what happened and gave his plate. They really do fight your corner if you ring first to put a claim against another party. Had it at work, some polish bellend reversed into a mates car and drove off. Had his plate and details and all was sorted with a couple of phone calls. Good luck.

Hmm not original, but seems to be an earth tag judging by the end of it. Normally goes to the nearest rocker cover bolt if it is. -
My current one is with Santander, 25% ltv got me 3.29% fixed for two years and £250 cashback on completion. They're fookin hopeless as a bank so try and avoid swapping your current account if you can
-
All comes down to deposit at the end of the day, the more you have the better you will do. Aim for 25% ltv and you'll do fine. Splitting with my bitch at the mo so I'm on the look out again!

I found that the heat from ploughing a drill bit down the middle of the bolt normally gets enough heat in to crack it. Obviously don't go too big with the drill bit though.
-
Legend! I'll give both of them a go and see what happens. Fingers crossed

anybody??? please, ive got so much resting on this.
-
bit random but ive got a video i need to clean up, it has a sort of white/static noise over the top of it. been trawling around download.com but not finding anything that seems particularly useful. any recomendations?? please! my eyes are starting to hurt
-
if its the smaller one, they are normally polo oil filters. ive heard of people running them but never quite dared myself. would have cured the mocal space issue but just not sure if would do more harm than good so didnt bother.

Thats a good question! Racking my brain I'd assume it to be 76mm rather than 79mm. Think I've got an original hose in my dads garage if you need one. By 63mm outlet plate do you mean an rsr? Or is it for the intake side of the charger?
-
yes but it also contains silicone which is not good. ambersil ptfe is good stuff. position of the sensor isnt overly important, provided its within the outlet mani readings wont be affected massively. they normally are in the correct place on aftermarket manis anyway. should over fuel a bit without the lambda being plugged in, so quite prob isnt the cause if its not curing the hunting. id suggest checking for air leaks on inlet mani and outlet mani as when they get warm they may well open up slightly, im a fan of blue hylomar for gasket sealer. do check for leaks in the vacuum pipes too as these do wear over time.
-
no gt85 is not recomended for the charger. will prob have done some damage to your lamda probe, which may explain your hunting idle. invest in some decent ptfe lubricant.

If the other car has wings on it then yes it can be done as far as I'm aware
-
Yep standard copper policy. Doesn't take a genius to figure out he was caining it, hit a kerb and rolled it. 33k for a r too!!
-
"What do you mean real crime? You parked your corrado infront of the burger van"
-
too right, we all know how it happened, but the only thing more bent than a copper is a politician. he'll get full sick pay on us and the filth will buy another golf r on us. dont you love england
-
if youre going to crash it might as well do it properly!! some what confused as to why a 'test drive' of an unmarked police car would happen at 1am though?? its only a bloody car, operates in the same way as every other one, just put the bloody thing in service. bellends.
-
dont think they do, seem to think the wings are different on the later models. easier to buy a late one.
