erm...does mine have the newer bulged bonnet or earlier one?? it was first registered on August 1991. Its on a J-plate too...pics can be found in gallery.

the headlights...the inside lines have been polished out and cleared. How much are just the glass bits? i've heard you can take these headlights apart as theyre not sealed. :) can ANY bodyshop plastic weld the indicators?? cos i'm thinkin about moving the indicators into the Headlamps!

This weekend i think i'll be trying to make my own makeshift induction kit buy removing the box! i do have a pipercross race viper which i could use... i'm definately getting that blank plate you got, and maybe some passat rear handles...even a 3slat grill and colour code them together... lights- one idea for you is 'light bolts'...which are available from demon tweeks...these are great! £35.30 a set! i too am 20..and was giving this car restoration a bigthought over the last year i spent on doing my mk4 polo up...me and my dad both shared spraying bits and pieces of the car.. my dad used to spray cars for a private income...that was 15yrs ago! he then worked for 2 industrial sprayer works that used to spray train parts and dash parts of cars. he told me about so many medical problems his friends have now aquired from breathing in the 2 pack paint...i.e. 1part paint and 1 part hardner...well it contains cytocynate..i.e. cyanide! to much can kill you very slowly... you have to have regular medical checks and be fit or else by the time your 40yrs old, you won't be able to keep going! It would be good to learn how to do it as an interest in your spare time like i have done...then perhaps after your degree you could go into more practice...perhaps even open your own bodyshop like i wanted to do! why not pop along to a local bodyshop and see if they don;t mind you watching the guys and learning...you could give them a free hadn in return depending on what it is. You don't have to listen to us..but i think your thinkin like me...Fast and furious style doin up cars in a secured unit containing 3 maybe 4 supercars... keep ya head up mate...i'm sure you'll know whats right! 8)

i think its great rob! got any photos of this mysterious K&N you have!? i'm interested mate...it is a 1.8 16v right?? i heard the only induction kit available was the Stroeve one at £120! i especially like your blank rear plate...2 questions: 1. where did you get it and how much? 2. how do you get away with your plate being that low off the ground and not being lit? one last thing..the skyline is way cool...but yours looks better.

Buz my friend...your a bit late. I bought this one saturday night...haven't looked back either. Drives great and looks minted nearly...apart from a few distasteful mods. thanks for the info though...i'll be after leathers next year i think. or xmas time if anyone has them in either grey or black. they normally go for £200-400...and the mileage for my car is very low i though, and engine is spotless. robs got it to a T...so has everyone else. but..i'm 21soon...haven't even started driving the corrado yet! been driving since i was 19yrs old. 1 and a half years driving Fully comp under my name...then i stopped the policy and got the rado. i'll have 1yrs NCB and PASS plus... the car is a garaged CAT 1 certified Toad Ai606 alarmed corrado 1.8 16v! in northampton. Best qoute out of all the above was £850 TPFT! from HIC?! is that joke!?

ok ok..i know its a bit of a state. but its in good hands... the digital clock..isnt a clock! its a voltmeter. if you notice the number on it, it registers 14.2v while engine is on...and around 12+v when engine is off. I think the previous owner either had a lot of ICE or he kept leaving his interior light or headlights on...thus flat battery! its gettin mved anyway. rear lights- new ones will be on the way! fully red tinted ones. tape unit- ahahahhahahahahhaa this car is so max power on the outside..notice the LED washer jets too?? and yet the car is straight outta the 80's inside! a kenny mp3 unit will go straight in next month! as for the grill and spoiler- its a kamei spoiler..which isnt too common...and its a venom meshed grill...which again is kinda uncommon. So i think i'll be hanging onto them for a tad bit longer. red calipers...i know. wheels...17"..i woulda prefered 17" Stilautos! i'll be keeping this car for quiet some time...so not in a hurry to do everything at once. anyone got any custom door pods they wanna sell me??? or know anywhere cheap?

what make is it bally?? i take it its 2nd hand then...when i looked under mine it has the std zorst system, but it looks as if the car has 3 silencers?? its a J plated 1991 1.8 16v...so does it still have no CAT? when it comes to exhausts...what do you 16valver drivers normally buy? 8)

Does powerflow do a complete system then? whats it sound like...tinny? raspier? throaty? or proper nova boy loud as hell.. Which twin tailtipe design did you go for? alex- which parts are scorpion on yours? and which are powerflows? i think i saw yours at the edition38 show...big oval straight tailpipe. Did you cut your bumper? sorry if i'm wrong.

sorry to see that mate...thats just unbelievable! the door looks like an easier repair than the rear...tims right, you shouldn't have to pay for it. I woulda tried to go after the guy in it! he must be goin about with no wing mirror...maybe even crashed further down the road! at the sound of things...probably driving under the influence. good luck with repairs. i'll get that grill asap! and as for the lights...already lookin for some std units. How much to get them resprayed a red colour? As for the exhaust, i'm pretty sure a twin round exit one should be ok...the scirroco can do it, worth a try i guess. If not then one upswept boxer style tailpipe like yours will do the trick! your car is great brian...i've added you to my msn list, so we can chat more about the dash lighting...is it bulbs you coloured?? or re-soldered LEDS?? i know the neon trick...but is there not filters behind the LCD panels? is it LEDs behind the electric mirror, sunroof and window switches?? know any place i can get 12v blue LEDS?? i had trouble finding them last time...maplins only stock 5v ones! the handles- how would some Vento rear handles do on it?? thanks!! where do i buy the following CHEAP: 3 slatted grill. red smoked rear lights. twin round back box...which will sound nice and deep. also...an air filter! I had a K&N on my polo...can i attach a PiperX viper to this engine? How do i change all of the dash lights to blue?? inc switchs. If anyone has already answered these questions made by many others...can ya give me a topic to search for. also one last thing! It has a Toad Ai606 alarm with total closure, what door handles canu put on it?? i wanna colour code them.

SOLD!! to meeeee.....for £2800 cash! this is what i have: indigo blue 1.8 16v with Full VWSH. 1991 J plated. flushed rear badges inc vw badge removed. no sidestrips. BK racing 17" alloys with 205/40 R17's. blue tinted rear lights. LED side repeaters. eyebrow spoiler and meshed grill. lowered fully on the 17's! it sits about 2.5inches off the ground at the front. all electrics are fully working...dark grey interior. bloody wicked!! pics will follow soon i promise. :lol: i can't believe i sold my polo today...and bought a corrado the same day! both cars i managed to lower to £2800 when i purchased them! and both have had fvwsh!

well it has full service history...all mot certificates...its indigo blue, 1991 too. has BK racing 222FC's which are 6 spoke wheels. as i said 91k on clock with no engine troubles at all. All receipts for all mods... is it worth £2850?? or should he go lower??

ok today i travelled oh say about 60miles to see a corrado from me. its an indigo blue 1.8 16v 91k on the clock (no funny noises, and starter motor is new) 2 previous owners (one of them being an old guy) no scratches! no dents! no rust grey karmann interior, std tape unit! lowered 40mm on BK racing wheels...near enough spotless. engine has FSH and all MOT certificates along with all receipts for the following mods: eyebrow spoiler, meshed grill, blue tinted bk lights. the guy wants £2900...is it worth it?? Any help is appreciated and i'll say thanks now... :lol:
