Sorry the part number is lost in the mountain of receipts I have. Its all numbers cant make sense which is which. I would take a picture of it and just show it to your VW parts department.

I bought the new plastic and rivets from VW Dealer about a year ago.

Are those small clips from Classic parts for the headlight lens... I was fortunate enough to have a picture of my VR taken next to your rare campaign a while back one cold lancashire corrado meet. Hope to see it back on the roads again for another pic soon. Still got the pic to prove it :)

Hmmm do we need a bio hazard suite for this job just to be on the safe side :)

You may have collected some magnetic dirt on the tip of the abs sensor. Maybe it just need a very gentle clean on the tip of the sensor if you can get to it ??

My list of things to do too will give that a read. Just noted the highlighted point in red in the wiki. WARNING: The fuel accumulator on a KR engine provides up to 3 bar of pressure in the system long after the engine has been switched off, when undoing the banjo bolts that screw into the filter wear suitable protective eyewear. Fuel WILL spray out when you loosen the bolts! If you have any doubt about this pm 2cc about his fuel in the eye experience

That reminds me I was in the Burnley area one frosty early morning. I noticed a car being driven in the opposite direction completely frosted over except a letter box size clearing on the front windscreen. I could not believe my eyes!!! what an idiot accident waiting to happen.

What engine dressing liquid do you use to keep your engine bay trim black and the coolant tubes nice and soft. Kind of like a moisturiser for the car :) Any recommendation ?

Ron please put some more up for sale...:)

Whats wrong with peoples driving these days. Rant. Have not driven my car for at least two weeks. Thought I will take it out for a spin today as the sun was out. So reconnected the battery, pumped up the tyres to the right pressure and off I went. No sooner had I driven down the road to a sharp bend someone coming in the other direction (VW golf Mk5) nearly took out my car as he has wondered into my side of the lane so had to take evasive action to avoid a collision...same road another similar bend same thing nearly happened again!!! So thats two near misses within less than 5 min. But still a lovely drive in the corrado despite the early near misses :) I tell ya people are driving way over their ability.

I had not realise these were made of metal until Portent in the above few posts mentioned this...also the trouble with listing on ebay as a full business is that there is FIXED monthly fee (£15) whether you sell anything or not on top of all the other listing fee and final value fees you have to pay on top of the fixed monthly fee.

GENUINE VW SEKURIT WINDSCREEN NOW OBSOLETE... advice needed..! Bugger!!
VWVW replied to rado16vleo's topic in Suppliers Forum
Does the new screen come with any plastics trims out of interest. Whats the process of getting the windscreen replaced if you have a chip. Do you just ring the windows fitters themselves and they will contact your insurer or do you contact your insurance company and say I want to use these specific screen fitter. -
I took a few pic of the stratos on track. Had it on my desktop wallpaper for quite some time. I hope to see it on track this year gotta hear that engine again. Here is the actual car...
-
Thats the one..if I had to get a mk1 TT it will be that one...
-
I like them not at that price...I went to a track near me once and I think the chap who drives one said there was a ferrari engine in there. Sounds amazing and rapid round the track. On track it looked like a remote controlled car.
-
They made a special edition TT too the one without any rear seats instead replaced with a strut bar. Stands out from the norm. Cant remember what it was called ?
-
I know what you mean. I wipe my bonnet dry before I open my bonnet if its wet. I need one of those passat plastic cover over the wiper motor too. I heard Mk2 golf Scuttle cover can be used on a corrado. Are they still available from the dealership ?
