Not sure if you are aware if you buy from the main VW dealership they will give you some money back on the exchange of your old ones. For example for the front callipers I exchanged my old ones for their new one for 60 pounds each. The rears are a bit more expensive.best to check on prices as these weere last year. You dont have to do the exchange there and then..there is a grace period where they give you time to take your old one off. Once they have inspected your old caliper they will refund you the amount. Mine came with some free screws aswell last time.

Whats get me is why they didnt own up to it that they have accidentally caused the problem and trying to make out it was like that in the first place and make the customer pay for their mistake. Iam sure they have a small pot of money or insurance cover to cover for "mistakes" or "accident" like this.

I had a set of these fitted last year. They were great. Volksworld13 Not sure if you are aware. There is a CCGB National Day, 25th anniversary of the Corrado. If you are going you could drum up interetst and get them sold on the day.

The black cable is the bonnet earth cable I changed mine a year ago for £10 from VW dealership. Maybe its the cold weather has taken a toll on the battery even for a new one. Do you have the cloth battery jacket to keep the battery warm to keep charge. Also if you have an alarm system it will be a slow drain on the battery if you have not driven the car for a month. Maybe the battery just need a charge up and all will be fine again.

chaps...since then I have got some 15 pin autoleads so that I can plug it into an old skool sony casette player(kindly donated by corrado GB member). Is it essential to have red on yellow connection like before with the CD setup ? This is how it looks at the moment ready for the Casette head unit see picture attached of new wiring setup.

I would have thought the VW dealership ones. Dont think they cost that much for a bottle.

Thanks for the red and yellow connection confirmation that everything is fine. When I first saw it I thought what the F##K Spolier and dash lights works as they should so I guess everthing is fine in that front.

If you dont fancy walking up you can take the train up aswell. There is a cafe at the peak too :)

Pictures are now attached...Had trouble earlier kept getting the female ass error image :) Anyway think it does work on the ignition as I can hear the CD changer making a sound when ignition is in position 1. So is everthing from the pic ok ??? Ps I am gonna sort out the blue cable ends looks like some bodged connections.

I dont have a problem with my CD head unit everything works fine but have a question on the wiring at present Noticed that some of the red wires is connected to the yellow wires. Is this right ???? I thought the red wires should connect with the red wires and yellow wires with the yellow wires. I dont have any clue when it comes with wiring just need some experts to confirm if something is not right from the picture I ve taken.

what sort of discount are we talking about is it a Trade discount or just a 8 percent discount which they normally give to the public anyway.

I have a Genuine Mk2 Golf Rear VW Badge for sale with 2x securing lugs. I have used it on my corrado on a few occasion and its still in very good condition. Nice work. Never thought of putting extra paddings in the floor plan. I could have done this when I had my carpets out before. Maybe a job for the warmer months month for me. Has it made a big difference noise wise.
