Loving the VW collection. If I had that collection it would be in a lock and key Glass display cabinet. You must have to feather dust them to keep the dust away.

Hi Dave Interested in the following bits 1. Have you got a pic of the Oil filter housing with sensors - £15 posted. 2. Front ABS loom, sensor to turret connector. £7 Posted. Does that include the 2 big plastic "Holder" Piece that the cable goes into as shown in the pic as thats the part that I really need as mine is cracked.

Was it for a vr6 front wheel bearing ? Do you have the part number by any chance ? Dont think they have any more in stock I may message them direct and ask if they would re-stock ?

Nice powder coated rear beam something I want to do in the future...the two "cup shaped" structure at either end of the beam Iam sure they are still the old metal casing of the old bush.

Did the VW dealer offer you a discount in exchange for your old starter motor. TPS did when I purchaed one off them. -

Looks very nice..How did you come to its possesion out of interest ?

There is only one belt on the VR6. But there is two types for the vr6 all depends if you have air con or not. The air con belt is longer. Mine does not have air con and if your is the same. I purchased the continental one from Euro car parts which is the OEM part for the VR6. Look at my build thread on this link for the part number etc and fitting instructions. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?48846-VWVW-Still-Enjoying-the-VR/page7&highlight=vwvw PS If you are buying of eurocarpart they are offering 30% off using code midmonth30 when you go to the check out.

Can you get any more of the top poster...

"One thing I did notice, there is an electrical plug that seemed to connect to the bumper on the drivers side under the fog light and indicator - does anyone know what i'm talking about and what it is for please?" ...Think thats your outside temperature sensor

see my members thread http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?48846-VWVW-Still-Enjoying-the-VR/page6&highlight=VWVW page 6 post number 60. There are pictures to show you how its held etc. Unfortunately there is no easy way of doing it. Pulling the roof lining down to get to the nut that holds the aerial in is the only way as the gasget sits below the aerial stub.

I was lost in Gloucester today and turned into a side street where I spotted a Blackberry VR6 with aftermarket alloys with reg ending ****WVW on spa road.

I did mine by emptying from the bottom radiator hose. The clamp holding the hose will be difficult to take off. I used a self locking mole grip to loosen and take off. Be careful not to damage the hose in the process. When filling new coolant I filled from the radiator top elbow first(Have to be careful here also as to not to crack the radiator elbow when undoing the bolts) then the coolant headed tank. Pour the coolant back very very slowly as not to get too much air in the system.
