Look great Dave wondered how it compares to the BMC CDA induction kit ?
-
Due to memory card issues I've only managed to salvage these few images which was taken late in the the day when the Club Corrado GB stand was half full. Sorry if I have missed anyone out. Iam sure others will post more pics later with a full Corrado GB stand.

Just keeping a log of what I have done to the car in the recent months. 1. Greased rear spoiler mechanism. Whilst doing this noticed a slight corrosion behind the number plate light looking from inside out but nothing on the paint surface. Will get this sorted at some point. 2. Realigned the rear light clusters. Think they were a bit wonky before. Now its spot on and looks symmetrical on both ends. 3. Cleaned up the fuel flap cover. Took it all off to clean. Dont think it has ever been cleaned before. 4. Purchased a second hand front dash abs light unit off Dave16V recently to replace the one I had damaged when I did the heater matrix change. Now it sits in the dash securely with the metal prongs intact. So no more slidding out when driving. 5. Noticed Iam missing the front passenger seat height adjustment handle - In search for one at the moment. 6 A few months back the neighbours builder spray painted the fence and specs of it landed on my car. Only recently I bought an autoglym clay starter kit and got rid of all the paint specs that was on the car. 7. Will be giving it a wash later ready for tatton park this Sunday. ( picture taken at Tatton Park since then)

helped needed identifying part and strange noise....thx
VWVW replied to ST0RMF0RCE's topic in Engine Bay
The whirling noise could be just the auxillary water pump ? but i thought it will turn itself off with the key off and will come on with the key on. Maybe yours is stuck on ON for some reason. Everything you need to know about the PCV is on this thread with part number etc and prices back then as I had the same issue http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?50827-What-are-these-parts-on-a-VR6&highlight=vwvw -

VWVW replied to Macdaddy's topic in Event Announcements & Discussion
Iam teaming up with Ozowen on the A55 for 7.00am. I ve got a club stand pass so see you all at the stand. Iam sure the weather will be fine for the day. P.S anyone going got a passenger seat height adjustmant handle for sale mine is missing. If you have the little screw to go with aswell even better. -
Cheers Dave if you could also bring them along to Tatton. Let me know how much you want for everything and I will sort you out on the day.
-
I will be going past the Blackcat shell Service station travelling from anglesey. What time will you be there at Black cats. We could have a mini convoy of three then :)
-
Club display ticket received safely today - cheers Tim. Will anyone else be going from north wales at all ?
-
I bought some thin foam from hobby craft a while back which are only 1mm in thickness to sort out any squeeks in the car not sure if that will be suitable.
-
greased my rear spoiler mechanism.
-
Heres one of mine. How do you show the picture as full size rather than a thumbnail. Then having to click on it to get the full size ?
-
Great - if you could bring it to tatton that would be great let us know on the boot foam aswell cheers
-
Hi Dave...do you have the boot foam insulation (think there are three pieces) and the foam insulation on either side of the rear seat ( just below the rear doorcards)you cant see them till you peel the carpet off. Mine are missing these items. How much would you do them for and is yours still in good condition. I can pick up at Tatton Park if you are going? Long shot also dont suppose you have the passenger seat height adjustment lever part on its own.
-
Have PM'd you postal address cheers.
-
Me please :) let me know if the ticket is still available for the club stand cheers
-
Dont have any pictures to hand but on a vr6 one end of the L bracket goes into a slot through the slam panel and make contact with a grove on the radiator itself and inbetween you should have a round thick rubber gromit.
-
If you still have your old VR front caliper you can also do an exchange with VW dealership. Think it was 60 each on exchange with VW.
-
Hi Dave. Thats great PM me your paypal details and I will send the money over. cheers VWVW

I have a the mk2 golf VW emblem on my corrado its different to the vw emblem on the corrado. The mk2 golf one does not sit flush with the bodywork when you look at it from the side.

Hi Kip the cup shaped metal bit on the rear beam is that the remains of the rear bush or is that still part of the beam structure itself ?
-
Is yours a VR6? I ve been using the dup power HT leads without problem. They are reasonably priced too at 35 pounds http://dubpower.co.uk/HT%20leads.HTM

Cant believe they did that temporay fix ! Is all your other exhaust rubber in pretty good shape. If they are old they may be sagging and not holding the exhaust up properly. Take it to another garage and have it aligned again maybe?
