  1. Here is the other...one Autocar Group Test 1994 - Return of the giant Killer. If the owner of that Corrado is in this forum ...please put your hands up :D stromlaufplan_gamma4.pdfarticle1.jpg[/attachment:1166td43] ETKA Corrado.pdfarticle2.jpg[/attachment:1166td43] stromlaufplan_gamma4.pdfarticle3.jpg[/attachment:1166td43] Corrado92.pdfarticle4.jpg[/attachment:1166td43] passat climatronic wiring diags.pdfarticle5.jpg[/attachment:1166td43] climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfarticle6.jpg[/attachment:1166td43] 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfarticle7.jpg[/attachment:1166td43] article8.jpg[/attachment:1166td43]
  2. Here you go :D TopGear August 1995.pdf[/attachment:34l6s6g3]
  3. Will also be interested in the calender if you manage to get one printed Heres are a few I took a while back not sure if its good enough. Its at resolution 3888 x 2592. Also got it in raw format if u need it pm me if intetested. Cheers
  4. White 16v Raddo reg N***CWL on the A55 near llanafairfechan today...Looks very smart.
  5. How much were the new brake flexis all round( front rear and center) with metal spring retainers from the dealers. Just wondered if it was worth getting the original stuff or braided kit version ? Those new backing plates looks great were the price for each or pair... I ve painted mine may get some new ones instead.
  6. You can also just get the PCV valve part from VW Dealer. Tell the parts guy to look under VW VR6 sharan. I got mine think it was £30 all in.

    Car Cover

Is the cover quite a "snug fit" for the corrado Where my car is parked its quite exposed to the wind woudnt want it to flap around and set the alarm off also do you know if on frosty days will frost still develop on a car with the cover on ??? cheers
  8. On yours do you have the anti rattle shim missing ???- suppose to stops brakes from squealing. Fits inbetween caliper and pad. see pic below...I ve been told you can still get them from the dealers Also not sure how good your carriers are. You may have to file down the "carrier guide tracks" if its rusty so that the disk pads that rests on it can slide along smoothly question1.JPG[/attachment:2cllplfu]
  9. or just get both sizes just to be sure and ask for combined postage of the ebay guy... :D Still cheaper than the quoted £60 to be done by your garage. I think the sizes are different if its a non genuine locking wheel nut.
  10. Dont think you can tell from the picture...If you have a range of socket set of your own try putting your own 17mm socket to test for size and just work from there to get an idea of the actual size. Could just get a quote from the garage to see how much they would charge to get it off. It only cost me a £10 before to get all four locking wheel nuts off from a garage local to me rather than getting the kit of ebay.
  11. It will be a needle in a haystack :) I would get another set of locking wheel nut. Not long ago someone in here nearly had their wheels stolen. Only detered by the locking wheel bolts. I would have them on personally. If the thugs gonna nick my wheels. They gonna have to work for it :D
  12. I had a similar problem with my mk3 Golf before when I lost my locking wheel nut key. The way the garage got the nut out was to hammer in a smaller socket into the locking wheel nut so that its realy tight and just use brut force after that...you will also probably need to get yourself a new locking wheel nut after that.
  13. Sound like you had a bit of a roadtrip...Glad you got her home safely...now you have 2 corrado storms within the same family wow !
  14. Fitted a new pair of "lungs" in the form of BMC CDA induction kit today. The kit was purchased recently off StueyB in the parts for sale section (Good comms and well packaged item cheers). The car now feels even more responsive and sounds awesome on throttle...well happy with it. Had to make a trip to B and Q to get the L bracket to connect one end to the wing. 15. recently found out that the boot was leaking through the gromit holding the rear corrado badge. Thought I will just go and order 6 new ones from the dealers knowing that they were only 45pence each + VAT. Turns out that they only sell them in batch of 20 !!! DOHHH No choice had to order them. Its either that or have a wet boot.
  16. +1 on great pipework. Let us know more on this when you do decide to go into mass production :)
  17. Bet they will start getting an influx of corrado owners flocking their way for quotes now :D
  18. Mines on a classic car insurance...I am with Lynbrooks with mods declared got an excellent rate.
  19. Thats a bit steep...Is that on a classic insurance policy. Should be a lot cheaper than that if its not modified and with limited mileage. With Classic car insurance policy its only for private use and excludes travelling to and from place of work, business or study.
  20. Car looks good when I was following you on the mini convoy to the yourkshire meet (I was in the 1 series). Loving the low stance look. Makes mine looks like a 4x4 :) That rear beam looks so shiny :) and what a bargain!!!
  21. If only I have the know how to do something like this and somewhere warm to do it in ...If you need an apprentice let me know :D Notice in your sig your in North Wales...I am in Anglesey. Nice to know a fello raddo owner in the area :salute:
  22. Just an update on this... Got the specific brake spanner for the caliper bleed valve but looks like the bleed valve has rusted beyond normal "shape" to get a good grip on it. (I ve tried to file it down to shape and used an adjustable spanner. Its no good :( ) As I cannot open the bleeed valve to wind back the caliper. I will have to put all the old brake disks and pads back in again to get myself mobile for the time being unil I can think of plan B. I suspect the other caliper bleed valves will be in a similar state. I think my option is to source a set of second hand front VR6 brake calipers and get them cleaned etc and refurbished using a caliper repair kit (anyone know where I can get a caliper repair kit from ?)

    Boot water leak

Had the same problem...Noticed a puddle of water had collected in the boot a few days back but couldn not work out where it was coming from....So today noticed a heavy downpour I ran to my car like a mad man. Folded my rear seat back and laid there in the boot in wait :) Sure enough there it was. Leak coming through at the rear driver side corrado badge lug area. Gonna seal this area good and proper when I get a chance.
  24. My tool collection is already starting to build up :) that the scary bit. Never knew one existed for the specific job will have a look. I could have taken the job to be done by a garage less hasssle and pocket will be lighter no doubt but then I will never know how it was done...Going through the process and finding out from this forum is great for when you have to do it again in the future.
