  1. I think it just happends sometimes , I've had it too , but not for a while . It's never on my phone though , only on the MacBook .
  2. I thought it was only motorway cars that carried those ? .
  3. I take the VR ang the Mrs golf to kwikfit for the mot's . I have a mate who works there . You are supposed to receive notification when the mot is nearly due , around a months notice . My Mrs got hers for the golf , so I booked it in today , I get a phone call from my mate saying it's not due till July ! . He looked up mine while he was on the phone and mine ran out in march ! . So I've been driving with no mot ! , no reminder at all . It's my fault as well for not remembering but with a busy work load I clean forgot . So glad I didn't get a tug from old bill .
  4. Lovely looking car , well done with the progress so far , the paint looks great . Oh and the Mustang is amazing too .
  5. If the ignition switch replacement fails to solve the problem , you could try leaving the car in gear and rocking it backwards and forwards , this will also jog the starter motor .
  6. Yeah hopefully I will be there , let's hope the categories are set out properly this year !
  7. Hi Darren ,[ my car was next to your old one at Bristol Volksfest ]. Ive not been around the forum much lately . Just spotted this thread . Nice to see you bought another car . Im sure it will look great when the paint is done . Ive never seen the splash guards fitted before . Im ashamed to say i have a set [as you will know they are like hens teeth] that have been sat in my shed for two years !.I fitted a brand new splitter just after xmas an still forgot to fit them !.Seeing them fitted reminded me i must get it sorted .
  8. Another vote for Virgin , never had any problems .
  9. Have a great time at the driving day Chris .
  10. Great work . I had to have the pillars replaced on mine , they were beyond help .
  11. You got the lights , but you aint having the fogs lol .
  12. Another vote for autoglym Rog , comes up lovely .
  13. I would leave it in carb cleaner for 12 hours , that will clean any crap out . Not sure what your saying about the cold start up ?its meant to run high .
  14. If you are going down the de badged route on the rear , make sure its really what you want . I only say this , as i did it and a few years later , i wanted to go back to oem . Lets just say it was expensive !!.
  15. Ah thats a bummer mate . You know in your heart it was fine and they say it was broken ,it happens all the time i bet .
  16. The grill looks nice Sean , when you say one of the fins , which part is that ? ,is it noticable from the exterior ?.
  17. Thanks mate . I managed a good wash on sunday and a coat of wax . Looks so much better now . As i said though , its been four years now, since the new paint and a good detail is needed . Lights removed , grill ect , then a real good going over , then apply that sealant stuff you used .
  18. Evening Mods . Ive just tried twice to reply to a pm from Jim , but it flashes up red on my screen saying ''sorry you have been blocked ''. Not sure whats going on as i can still post on here ?. Im sure i havent been a naughty boy .Also when i try to click on new posts it wont do anything ?, i have to keep pushing the back button . Kind regards Rob
  19. Looking forward to front end pics Sean . It would have been nice to have a better look around the car at the mini meet , but the weather was so bad !. I didnt want to get it all wet inside !. It does look great though , the paint looks fantastic .
  20. If the sunroof motor is wet , it has to be the seal on the roof or the drainage tube on the passenger side , if its blocked the water has no where to go but sit where its collecting , it then becomes to much and drains into the car .
