It's down to the individual , but I have to agree, I put porker 911's in mine , but went back to corrado leathers a year later . They were very heavy as well .

Another vote for the AA , sorted my van and the Rado . I've had cover in the past with other company's , geezer climbs out of the truck armed with a pen , pokes around with it and says "mmm think it's an electrical fault where do you won't me to tow you too " !! Oh yeah great diognosis that mate , thanks . The AA came out to me when the Vr had cut out , even though I had looked at the usual suspects he checked again , then got it started . Ah , i thought the milltec system was the one that bent to the left like the original . Is it the one that bends up slightly ?

Miltecs do have a bend on the tail pipe , it's why a lot of people go for them , as it looks closer to the oem exhaust . When you say it's close to the valance , I presume you mean because of the bend . Adjusting the rubber mount should sort it .

70 does seem a bit low , the senders are not really expensive , the fans not coming on will be a duff sender . You may as well do all three while your at it . Before I changed mine I had the opposite in which they came on and would not switch off ,till the ignition was turned off

Really appreciate the comments , thankyou . A month seems a long time to wait when you don't have your car . There is only Ben in the body shop and an apprentice , he always has a lot on . He always does a great job and takes his time . His words to me were " I know it took a while but it has to be done right ". There's a big dub following down here and obviously he has a reputation to up hold .It did cost me £400 to put it back to how it should be , but it's worth it .

I got a pair off of Matt a while back , with some other goodies he had in his cellar . These are quite rare now , most have been removed years back and not put back on or been ripped off when the car has been lowered .

At last i have her back home . Very happy with the way she looks now , apart from the weld/join line its oem . Ben has done a great job for me . All inside the boot has been treated as well .I repainted the vr badge as i was in need of something to do ,while the car was in the bodyshop. I think the pics speak for themselves . Rob
