  1. If you remove the power steering pipes , just let the fluid drain into a bowl .

    Bad VR6 noise

When I made the pic larger to see the damage I thought it looked worse as it blurs the bigger you make it .But oh dear what a mess .
  5. Only 50.00 pnp on top as well . Bargain .
  6. Ooooh, rare part . I could part with mine , £200.00 ok lol .
  7. Thanks Hasan . I'm going to do some checks on the other valves . If they are fine , I will take you up on your offer mate . Thank you .
  8. Mine are mine a missing. I've know idea what they are made from though , I've never had them on the car .
  9. Not quite the same , but I've got my spluttering start back again . It's been fine for ages . First turn of the key it fires but the idle will not pick up . Turn the car off and restart and it's fine . No idea what causes it . The FPR is almost new , fuel pump is fine and the filter is fairly new . Still seems like it's not holding the fuel at the rail though ?. It's only on first start up, if you went on a drive and left it for a few hours it won't do it again , it starts fine .
  10. If your not doing it yourself anyway, best to get someone to test the one you have .I doubt if a dodgy crank sensor will be the blame for poor warm starting . They are not cheap for what they are so you don't want to lay money out if your not 100 percent sure it's the culprit.
  11. Furniture clinic is great stuff, very easy to use . Please don't take this as a moan of criticism, I bought the new carpet from Heritage, made by newton commercial. I also bought the deluxe underlay set . There is no way you can double up the underlay as per instructions, I struggled with one layer let alone two. It's just to much by the time the carpets go in you are fighting with the seats to get them on the runners. The carpet is great quality, but is thicker and is not a perfect fit so it's hard to get it seated right over the humps and raised areas .
  12. Hi chaps . Rodger sold his storm and very rarely comes on here now . I will try and get hold of him because he has the original scan of the artwork so to speak. Alternatively you could just get your own made Lespaul ?, it's simple really , take your badges to a graphic/ vehicle signwriter shop , they will scan them and produce the correct size sticker for you . Bill , we could not do the Corrado script, as it's rounded at the edges as opposed to the VR badge . We looked into it and didn't think it would take properly. It would easily peal away.
  13. Let's see a few more pics then . Lovely colour.
  14. A much sort after part . Well done .

    Vr6 badge

Just do what Rog did . Take it down to a graphics /sign writers shop . Scan it and they will print you the stickers to go over the badge .
  16. I didnt miss much then . I have to admit im more in to mix bagged shows now . We have a local one at Powderham castle , all the cars are in sections , classic americans, muscle cars , retro Fords , Vauxhall etc, so much to see there .
  17. Whats it like now ?. I was going to go this year but could not in the end . I went three years ago , the show was great apart from the water cooled show and shine . All different categories for everything else , you know the usual , MK1 ,MK2,MK3 ETC ,but the corrado's were dumped in any other watercooled , which was a bummer to be honest . You cant judge a polo GTI in the same category as a corrado !. It winds me up a bit that everthing else has its own place , especially the splittys and bugs and as i said MK1's to MK3's .I must say too , that Darrens car was there next to me , if that doesnt win a trophy then there is something a miss lol,
  18. Me too . I think it's 100 percent better .
  19. Looks a lovely car , welcome back .
  20. Great advice Sean . I went for oem bushes too .
  21. Delfinis, you need a Ruhla , no battery needed . Genuine GDR workmanship tachometer always works , as long as you remember to wind it up lol .
  22. Obviously if yours is a daily you will do a lot more miles . Mine is a weekend, sunny evening fun car . I've just looked at my new MOT and seen that I've done an Average of 1,115 miles a year . I need to get out more .
  23. You will be fine with the sender then .
