Thanks Veedubbed , a little to far away though . Unfortunately the valver parts are different Steve. Thanks for the reply though . Still wanted chaps .
-
A lot of work has gone into these , well done and a reasonable price too .

Hi Jimmy . They had the Corrado runners welded to them . They were very tight to get in though and they are a lot heavier than standard seats .
-
I posted up on Friday . The badge is with the graphic shop and hopefully I will have some news tomorrow.

Great , thank you .

Great thanks for that . As usual this forum is worth its weight in gold . Thanks again chaps .

£67.00 with the dreaded mate . I have a mate whose a carpet fitter , so I was going to get some gear from him , but the proper stuff is all cut to shape , so I won't have to mess around .

Just ordered the deluxe underlay from Heritage . Another simple job , but much needed .
-
That would be great Easypops . Thank you .
-
Thanks Ian . I will have to register with them as it won't show me the images . Regards Rob

Ok . The main part that sits under the engine is the subframe correct ? . The crossmember is also the rad support? . Just so I know to ask for the right parts . When I google the pics of these , they both come up as one heading . Thanks Rob

Im the same Darren , although im getting better at not fretting over unfinished stuff . I have to walk away and finish it when i can .

Could not be easier mate tbh . Just support the tank , remove the old straps and replace with the new set . The only slight problem I had was removing the old bolts , I had to hammer on a smaller socket as the bolts were in a right mess . New bolts are available on EBay , as is the bracket.

As above please chaps . Not to bothered what they look like as long as they are not rotten as I will be powder coating them . Rob

I started to take the under trays and bits out today as I need new underlay . I never fitted it back after it got soaked because of a membrane leak . I will order the delux set from Heritage tomorrow. Then the drivers seat bolster needs replacing as its collapsed. I will repaint both seats and door cards as well . The rears are mint , so they will be ok . Progress is slow on the underneath of the car , I want to be able to do stuff myself (the interior) while I'm saving for the underside parts . I get bored in the evenings and need something to do . A neibour has a small compressor so I can borrow that to paint the seats . I will take out the rest of the interior afterwards to rid the car of rattles and squeaks .

Nice work Darren . Can you not fit the MK4 washer bottle ? , or is it strictly oem ? . I'm always amazed how quickly you get on with the jobs you under take . It takes me forever to do my car , work is manic as always , I only seem to get a few hours here and there .

Nice work going on here Delfinis . Love the garage , wish I had one ! .

Getting them out ? Getting them in is the mare lol . I had to use a mirror , I put blue tack in the socket so the nut was stuck in , then I could offer it up to the bolt and hold the mirror to see what I was doing .its one of those jobs , you spend half an hour trying , then your mate turns up and does it first time ! . A bit like fitting the Bowden cables near the floor pan lol .

Nice To see your cracking on Easypops . Yes if the dash is out , whip the matrix out , good planning . Hope all goes well .
-
Thanks Phil .

Thanks Darren . Yep , the other half is good like that . Hope to get some more for Xmas . I will be taking a look at your thread soon to see how your getting on .

I don't think anyone knows the exact crossover period . We can only narrow it down . As georgaco says he has a May 92 car with early parts , mine is November 92 with late parts . There must have been a time when someone on the production line said , "that's the last car , it's new parts from now on ".
-
Thanks Sean . A pic of the new indicators , trouble is they show how bad the foglights are ! Also as said , I've had the gearbox seal renewed and the sump gasket . The oil cooler rubber seals were replaced as well . Then a good clean up of the engine while it was on the ramp . I replaced the dizzy and rotor arm too , it was looking tired and moisture had got into it . On to the next jobs now .

A few birthday parts turned up today . Er in doors has done well this year . I received a new heat shield for the bumper , bumper iron bolts , pedal rubbers and some shiny indicators .
-
Corrado badges . Red front only I'm afraid .

Popped into the graffics shop today and they will start on them next week . I've asked if they can get any more swatches for the chrome badges too .
