I was only asking , as I've done some plastering for a builder today . He was plastering around the chimney breast in one coat . The fire - log burner bloke , specified 600mm on the face of the breast from the opening .so yes the inside can be left in brick , but the face should not be in normal plaster , because of the intense heat .

Front VR6 Badges, Red and Silver stickers
robrado974 replied to Roger Chatfield's topic in Forum Group-Buys
Finaly !!!. My daughter has showed me , that i have to make a folder to put the pics in . Never had to do this before . leave things as they are Apple !!. Sorry chaps here is the pic of the VR badge with the sticker on . As i said , its best to order a few , in case of a cock up ..... like this !. The V is clearly not in place . But you get the idea . Tornado Red , the size looks to be spot on . I will be spraying mine black on the edges first , i dont see the point of having a gleaming red badge with faded black on the edges . Kind regards , sorry it took so long . Rob -
What are you using on the surround and the inside of the chimney , to make good ? . Render works well , but I have done a few using one coat plaster .

Front VR6 Badges, Red and Silver stickers

Sorry chaps , the rear could not be done . Because it's rounded on the edges , the sticker will not adhere to it properly . Where as the front it dead flat . -
Rog is taking orders for the stickers as seen on Wheeler Dealers . Have a look on the suppliers page .

Im trying soooooooo hard to put a pic up @@!!!!!!!TT^^T^%%%. I think my mac has a life of its own . I cant understand why i have imported the pic eight times off my phone , ive put it in an album four times , when i go on Photobucket i cant find the album , in my albums . I will end up in a straight jacket or i will put a hammer through this computer . I hate tech stuff , i never had any problems in the past , why now ??? -
Great work , this car will be a stunner when it's finished .

Front VR6 Badges, Red and Silver stickers
robrado974 replied to Roger Chatfield's topic in Forum Group-Buys
Evening chaps . I have received the red sticker from Rog . It fits like a glove . I will put a pic up as soon as poss . I uploaded the photo from my phone to my Mac , it's in my photos on my Mac . But when I go on Photobucket and look in my photos it's not there ? . After trying to find the pic for half an hour I gave up ! . Hopefully it will appear tomorrow and I will post it up . What I will say is , I would advise to buy at least two or three . The reason for this is , when you are gently pulling the sticker from its background you have to be careful not to stretch it . Also laying it on the badge is a one off chance , get it wrong and it's difficult to peal it back and start again . My attempt was fine , but when you see the pic , you will see that the V is slightly out . So it's better to have backups just in case you get it slightly out . I will get the pic up ASAP , so you can check the colour and your happy . Kind regards and many thanks to Rog , Rob -

very true . The Dubmeister plates are legal and carry the BS marking .
-
I bought the metal pressed plates too . Or as Sean said , you can have the plastic plates , with the garage details printed on them , from when the car was new . A nice touch really .
-
You and me both Ray . Imagine having a heated double garage ! . But at least I have a drive to work on , so it's not all bad .
-
Thanks mate . I will be going to a few shows next year , if you fancy coming . No falling asleep on the way home though ! .

Can anybody tell me what size the bolts are for the fuel filter housing please . Also the bolts for the break compensator valve . Many thanks . Rob
