That site could pretty much just be my dream garage - they always seem to get some fabulous cars on there. The NSX is glorious :) And they always have a good selection of German muscle (M3's and M5's, etc).

How can you commentate on the VW Cup and not know what a bloody Corrado is.. :|

The nights are drawing in, and the temperatures are dropping outside.. it's that rolling road time of year! Organised due to popular demand :) Date & Time Sunday, October 27th, 2013. We'll be starting for around 9.30am. This may not suit people who live far away... if you don't like early mornings or you live in the Lake District, then you may wish to not put your name down! Alternatively I can slot you in later into the running order :) The Venue The event will be held at Stealth Racing in Southam. Their address is: Unit 6 & 12 Warwick House Ind Park Southam CV47 2PT A view of the location can be found here on Google Maps. This is the entrance of the industrial park. If you're going to be coming along to spectate, please drive straight on and park at the FRONT of their unit (past where the bright orange TNT delivery van is in the picture). If you're having your car rolling roaded please take a left and park round the back (look for all the Corrado's). Please stick to this! If you're rollering your car, when you arrive, please come and find me.. I'll be hanging around by the rollers most of the time and just ask if you don't know what I look like - most people there will probably know who I am and can point you in my direction. I'll confirm you've arrived and get you into the running order. The Price I've not yet confirmed prices with Vince, but it's always been £25 for two runs and a printed copy of your results including BHP and torque plots. I've no reason to believe it's gone up! I'll be contacting everyone who has put their name down at the start of October to collect payment in advance. If you're not 100% certain you can attend, please don't put your name down. It takes a lot of time and effort to organise things like this and I just don't want the hassle of trying to sort out refunds for people 2 days before the start of the event. Sorry. You're more than welcome to just come on the day though.. and if we're still running I can take cash on the day and put you into the running order. Participants...... 1. I might try get my Scirocco BlueMotion owning friend along to run his car just to make up the numbers (same chap that had the Leon a few years back that made over 300BHP!)

Nice one Fay :)

Cheers Tom! Be good to have a chat finally.
-
Assuming we actually get enough people interested - at this point it's not looking too good. We're up to what... 6? :(
-
Provided I'm sure you're coming then it's not usually a problem to insert you further down the running order. The day does start early (9'ish) but normally takes a fair few hours to get through all the cars.

If your car has Haldex, it can be relatively easily disabled..

I like your thinkin' Mic :)

Thanks Charly - I had forgotten about the V6 festival. I was trying to keep it in October because a lot of people are SORN'ing their cars for November it seems. Now that I've booked the date with Vince I'm just going to forge ahead and see how we do with numbers.. we only realistically need to get 15 or so folks to make it work and that shouldn't be too hard to achieve (talk about kiss of death!) :)

Jesus H.. I'd heard about this on various sites but not watched it. All I can say is 'Drugs are bad, mkay..?' :)

Basic OE style Bilstein dampers - B4 I think? The problem is the springs I think - on uneven road, if I'm making progress, I've almost been bounced off the road before!
-
It's probably going to be down to your spring / damper combo.. your mileage can vary massively on the Corrado. I have a Bilstein damper and KW spring combination and my suspension is, frankly, crap. I just put up with it because of the cost of replacing it all - AGAIN. May want to experiment with different springs (e.g. PI) or even consider trying standard ones just to see how the car feels.

Cool :) I'll turn this into a proper thread in Event Announcements later this week :)
-
Well that's four of us... any more?

http://www.evo.co.uk/news/evonews/290620/audi_quattro_concept_specs_and_details.html Still looks like what a modern Corrado should :)
-
OK - have spoken to Vince and come up with the 27th October? Does this work for folks? I'm happy to formalise things if we can get something like 10 people interested early enough. I'd ideally like to only get up to 20 or so folks. So... who's up for it? I might well run my car again just to see how it is so that's one down..

Unfortunately I think they're the synopsis's for last series :(
