  1. In case it helps, the VR6 ISV works fine on the 2.0 16v too :)
  2. Please stop spamming the adverts. You've got one in the classifieds, and one on here, both with the minimum of effort put into them!
  3. I think Rallye's are beautiful, in that way that only 80's cars drawn with a set square can be! Would much prefer it original / unmolested though...
  4. Indeed.. and nice to see them being fairly respectful of it being an original / unmolested one! Interesting to see the Corrado has well and truly arrived at the classic stage now.
  5. That's ridiculous! Barn find?! Looks like I won't be buying the stupid magazine after all. Barn find to me is like.. delivery mileage or something that was driven and put away and rediscovered after 20 years!!
  6. Not bought PVW in years, but have to say that's peaked my interest.. will go look out for that!
  7. The Corrado was always intended to be the MK3 Scirocco - but once costs spiralled in the development, and VW realised they'd need to sell it at a significantly higher price than the MK2 Scirocco, they realised they needed to rebrand it and launch it as a new model - as they'd be ripped to pieces in the press by making the affordable coupe (which the Scirocco was), no longer very affordable!
  8. It always amazes me where Corrado's show up! Welcome to the forum!
  9. Do you mean the little plastic clip that secures the plastic cover / grille in place, or the entire grille itself? :) The entire cover is called a Leaf Grille, part number 191 819 098A and the clip specifically is 191 819 130. Should be approximately £9 and £1 respectively.
  10. Yep.. two Scirocco owning friends of mine (Tempest from on here, and someone else) have been following the development and changes in legislation for fuels for a year or two now with increasing concern. And apparently the fuel companies are not required by law or anything to divulge which of their fuels are biofuel mixed and to what percentage! Additionally, the German government at least has basically taken it upon them to force this stuff on the public despite overwhelming lack of interest. And essentially they don't care that this stuff ruins the engines in older cars - the main message being "tough luck, buy a new car". Worrying times.
  11. If you want a hand doing that one day when the weather improves, let me know! Make lighter work with two of us doing it!
  12. Indeed. If you've had to do your heater matrix in the past, it's quite possible it's disintegrated the foam on the flaps in the main airbox that, as Yan says, helps seal and direct airflow.. you can effect DIY repairs though quite effectively for not much cost! :)
  13. It is unfortunately the only way you'll know what's going on. How are your heater controls - do they all slide freely?
  14. Confirmed please! :) Thanks for organising this.
  15. It's a server side problem.. has bugger all to do with what operating system / browser / internet provider you have...! :)
  16. Another vote for Redline MT90. Great stuff.

    wishbone overhaul

Think the R32 ones are the flavour of the month, Karl - a real improvement over the OE ones.
  18. How much do you expect to be retailing these at for us folks in the UK? :)

    OE mud flaps

I believe Supercharged may have a new set squirrelled away somewhere but he's always very reluctant to part with anything from his horde. Might be worth dropping him a PM tho! :)

    coolant

You'll ideally need 2x 1 litre bottles of G12++ from VW to get the right sort of quantity and mixture... IIRC it's about 4 or 5 litres!
  21. Got a black leather interior lined up to go into the car in January hopefully, and then thinking about some paintwork. Have to say though "life" and other interests have really meant the Corrado has taken a back seat for the last few months, especially now I have another car.. hoping the VR doesn't end up going the way of the 16V and just getting sold!
  22. The D90's look great on there definitely. Nice pictures! :)
  23. Then he shouldn't have a "J reg 16V" not least cause their registration system works differently, but because they never sold the 16V over there ;)
  24. Pretty sure they used to be about £50 from VW anyway so that seems a pretty good deal to me!
  25. There have been several threads about Classic Parts in the last few weeks! Details on how to order with them are, I think, in this thread: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?59345-Corrado-Radiator-top-flange Clearly we need some kind of sticky post or something with this information!
