I think that's very, very subjective!

What would the interest be in new late headlight switches? Pricing Update.

Breaking Corrado 2l 16v blackberry show car all parts 99p start
Jim replied to voo51's topic in Cars for Breaking
Actually sorry to waste your time.. looking like the valver might be going soon so will pass these up. Thanks. -
Oh? Pics and info please! :)
-
Eeerr... I hadn't thought that far ahead but yes I should be going (having just checked the date). If it helps, I bought the 50mm spoiler brand new about 4 years ago and the cars done about 10,000 miles in that time and I don't think it's ever been scraped at all so should be in superb condition! Don't worry about pics.. just bring spoilers along to the national day and we can decide then :)

Shame... as I don't put supermarket fuel in the VR! Now if only I could get some kind of discount on Shell Optimax.. :|

There is a fundamental flaw in that otherwise excellent plan.. can you guess why it would be impossible to make a Veyron bonnet rusty? ;)

I admit I've never driven an M3.. but I just can't understand that there would be even a fraction of the enjoyment available in an M3, in a Corrado! If I had the chance to swap I'd be gone in a second!
-
The forum has all the advice and tips you'll ever need. Get searching or get posting with any problems.. we'll be happy to advise!

I'd take the M3 in a heart beat. I've wanted one ever since they came out! I can't imagine the Corrado would compare in any way to one of those, apart from in lower running costs! Please just tell me how much he's offering it to you for.. so I can go and have a cry somewhere!

Hi Laura.. I've got a perfect condition 50mm splitter on my 2.0 16v.. would be happy to do you a swap provided your 90mm is in similar condition? My valver sits a bit "tall" at the front so reckon a 90mm splitter would help fill the gap a bit!
-
Errr... ok... I promise I won't!

Decatted? Have you been near or damaged the lambda probe wiring? Typical lambda problems would be the car running fine for the first 5 minutes or so then getting progressively lumpy, rough, etc...

Hiya... by "fuel lines" do you mean the lines from the metering head to the injectors? If so, still available? Where abouts are you in the Midlands as I could pick em up to avoid Royal Mail bending them! -
But in my humble opinion, VW simply don't care about appealing to the "enthusiast" any more. Sure they make the right noises.. they had focus groups, invited enthusiasts and all sorts when they made the new Scirocco and proceeded to ignore about 90% of what the enthusiasts said appealed to them about the car ;) There are only a handful of big car companies who I really think have a vested interest in catering to the enthusiast / fans of the marque and I don't feel that VW are one of them.

Because your old advert is still here mate - you never marked it as sold! http://the-corrado.net/classifieds.php?do=viewitem&itemid=366 Either mark it sold or let me know and I'll delete it :)

Anyone checked if Classic Parts are making VR radiators? I don't have a part number to hand to check..
-
Feck. My VR is going to need a radiator at some point.. if VW have obsoleted that, I think I'm going to go and firebomb my local dealership!!
-
Fantastic news Yan. Hope you can pass the MOT :)

another reason to drive an old less complicated car
Jim replied to davidwort's topic in General Car Chat
Well I only half agree with that sentiment David.. in so much as, in an accident, I'd happily pay £1000 to know that my forehead wouldn't be redesigning the steering where! -
Not sure I'd bother personally. I'd spend the money on an original, mint, V12 E-Type..
