I have a private plate on my A4, its K666 JMC... suitable for a Jenny, John, Joe, McCartney, McConnell, McCallion etc., etc... It was on the A4 when I bought it... Regtransfers offered me £400 for it so, I'd say it must be worth £800 to someone

Sorry to hear that m8... thats the sort of thing I have nightmares about Sounds like it could be one of your mates playing a joke on ya... I wouldn't worry too much about that

Andy Brookes's Satin Silver VR6, its last journey...boohoo

Nice clean looking car m8... lovely colour  the silver always looks better in the flesh I think the wheels look fine from side on... Nice to have someone else spend the money on the engine work as well... as you say, it should run now for a good while without any problems -
I have a friend who has an upholstery company. He said that he would re-trim all my seats for free  ... all I have to do is leave him out the seats & leather. I was toying with the idea of getting a hide of Connolly leather in a dark grey colour, almost charcoal (even got the samples sent to me). I too like the look of leather but, my last 16v Corrado had leather which I didn't like... it was very hard & shiney. Then I wasn't sure about getting either a full re-trim or half leather :? So as yet I'm no further on... what would you do?? Whats alcantra & where can I get it?

Beautiful. I'd love to see it in the flesh... I'd say it could worth in the region of 18-19k to the right person Oh... just reminds me that mine has just turned 90,000 miles :(
-
I like the 'all red' light clusters... & that first Corrado I do like the deep dished alloys as well but something like the 'Azev C's' are dished enough for the C
-
They look good... its even nicer when you do something like that yourself 8) well done m8
-
I agree, Looking at the pics, I was just thinking how much better the car would look with a black grille. What is that part you took off (in the last pic)
-
Exactly Henny... Any Corrado from 1.8 to 2.9, will give you great driving pleasure
-
Chuck, Are you not living in Belfast anymore then? cos, Chriss Knott couldn't quote me living in N Ireland

8) pics m8 and the nice thing about owning a corrado in CA is that you have no rust worries  ... -
IIRC, try sliding the indicators to one side... this should release them
-
The tension mounts... Good luck with it Phat... hope everything works out well for ya. Looking forward to the updates

I agree with Kev

I think I'll own one of those Nissan 350Z... one day :)
-
When I bought mine (L30 VRG) it was £250 all in, transfer included in that :)
-
Good tidy job there OSV, Looks like you've got the lowering just right as well.
-
Very nice indeed Tempest... I think those are the best looking tail lights you can put on a Corrado 8)

You should go looking for some Saxo's next Jim... :) just to remind yourself of the difference
-
Can't remember the differences in the Schrick VSR's... one is a 368 or something giving better low down torque... Anyone know the differences & how does the VGI compare?
-
Mine was the same... but when I was wiring in my laser/radar detector I had to remove the passenger side under-tray & another cover that has the feet vent in it (again passengers side) When I was looking about in there, I noticed that one of the little steel cables had come off. So I snapped it back on again & hey presto... heat for the feet :D The cable is easy to see but to find where the cable snaps onto, just turn the 'heater direction control' when the cover is off & you can then see the rods move.
-
Mine is due now at the end of this month as well... still haven't decided wether or not to go with the 6 or 12 months. Makes economical sense to go with the 12months but... as you say Jim, its a lot of money :?

I think the 50mm spoilers only came on Corrado's during 1994
-
I bought the PVW every month for a couple of years but I have to say that I don't anymore. There's too many commercial features... i.e. the 'New Stuff' features seem to be all written by the suppliers themselves  & so giving a biased opinion on the products. The golf magazine seems to give a more independant view on the products featured. It also gives more information on 'How To' do a lot of projects yourself... this is the sort of things I like to read about. Although they could feature more Corrado's...
-
I'll deffinitely be getting that. If the Golf features more Corrado's then I'll take out a subscription on it. I think its a proper car magazine 8)
