I can't close my windows at the same time either. Also some cars on here can close the windows with one-touch ...I can't do that either :( ...ah well, at least they're still working :)

Turbo, InterCooler, 6gear, 200+bhp, 420NM torque.... MOD!
dan replied to Jurgen TDI's topic in Engine Bay
I'd love a run in that C I think you've done a great job there Jurgen 8) Do you know if the standard 159bhp Transporter would fit into a Corrado? If it did it would take away the moddng intercooler problems! Well done again m8 -
Theres about seven (star head) screws that have to be removed before you can get at the lights. You will have to take out the centre bin first, then the ashtray & cigerette lighter & then the controls themselves. All the screws are hidden (for asthetic purposes) but, a good place to start is the roof of the centre console bin as there is one or two screws there. Once you take the bin out more screws are exposed. A short screw driver is very useful for the job. Its been a while since I've had my heater controls out so I can't remember where all the screws are located but the whols thing can be removed in about 15mins. The controls are lit by 'indiglo' circles behind the controls so I think theres only two bulbs altogether. Good luck..

Almost bought a 1996 Midnight blue S2 after my first Corrado ...tried to arrange for a test drive but it was already sold :( Two weeks later I bought the VR :D

Just to double check ..I visited the site & searched for , what bulb fits my vehicle. According to their site we need 'H3 for Main beam' & 'H4 for Low beam', is this right. This link takes you to the Corrado section http://www.powerbulbs.com/whichbulb.php ... Volkswagen

Looks very tidy work ...well done m8  How much?
-
Sorry m8, they are replacement rear light clusters (red on bottom & smoked clear on top) cost about £170

I prefer the look of the 90mm spoiler meself. I've set the ride height so that the spoiler just clears the highest speed-bump near me :D
-
Looks great m8, The leather looks cool; is that the later spec interior? You should take your time & save up for some coilovers, a panel filter, smoked FK's, Powerflex bushes all round & clear side repeaters. All brand new & for less than a grand. Trust me, get the proper gear first & don't make do with cheaper alternatives (like I did) as it'll cost you a lot more in the long run. btw, welcome to the forum :)

No private roads near me so, I haven't tried for a top speed ...yet
-
They look very, very nice m8. Am I right in thinking that you only changed the faces & are still using the OE lights?
-
I've seen it before but, I don't know who owns it... nice car tho
