don't i would love too, but i have to do 800 miles sometimes in a week and i can't risk running a banger for that and can't use the westy for it instead, well i could but after a 12 hour day which half of that can be diving i would just be too tired to get in it and enjoy it, i am really struggling tho as what to buy........ hence seeing if someone has a nice g60 that they are thinking of selling as this ticks all the right boxes....
-
andy, i do hear what you are saying but you never know what is out there, i'm not supprised your g60 o's you so much reading your sig sounds like a lovely car, i looked at westfield yesterday it was a 91 with 2 litre kicking out 170bhp and had only done 400 miles was lovely but just a bit too raw for my only car, but i really wanted it....
-
 glad to hear your still alive, and yeah your probably right ....
-
i would love a westy but we only have 2 months of sunshine left really and i can't be arsed with having to go through selling and buying again for the winter, certainly can't afford a boxster or a 911.... clio 172 would be ok so they are cheap to run don't to much about them other than they get good ratings for the money....
-
i was just looking at the same one, i just don't know if would like the auto box !!!
-
dazzyvr6 now that is my kinda of thinking something a little different like that - just wonder what running costs one of those has tho..... a friend of mine has a saab turbo there great just don't dig the handling...
-
well gotta be "reliable" and quick can't be driving something that does'nt gooooooo, but is'nt ya norm if that makes sense, i have to use it for work which can mean i can drive upto 800miles in a week but not every week so reasonably comfy too but thats not too high on my list, must have a good history and been well looked after, i am coming to the decision that it's either another corrado vr or g60 or an elise, i just can't think of anything else at the moment, anyone out there got anything interesting they are thinking of selling.....
-
whats the "shazza" :?:
-
nice cars but not really what i'm after to be honest bit too heavy and not enoufgh character, see really too fussy
-
i would like to own a g60 but i would like one which has had a lot of the work done to it already i.e stage 4, lowered, and with lowish miles nice set of split rims, leather but it's just finding one, the elise would totally stretch me so if we are talking budget in the "real" five grand tops.... had my dads s3 for a couple weeks nice car but again was bored after a week and would have to spend a lot at amd.... i wanted to go for the mk1 for sale on here for 6000 with g60 up front but it went was sold today
-
would get bored of the integra v-tec too quickly don't get me wrong quick car but not for me would rather spend the money on an elise than an s works and unless it's the original m3 bms don't really do it for me, i'm too fussy i reckon, but am finding it really hard to make my mind up....
-
ok so i sold my mk2 yesterday and now need to get a new car in the next week really, but what!!!! this is what i am thinking off lotus elise- not sure if i want to spend this much westfield - a bit too mental for the drive to work vr golf highline- just can't get excited about one of these or another corrado either a vr or staged 4 g60 but want one in really nice nick with leather, lowered (no lower than 40mm) and some other nice mods... but can't seem to find one or something else but what!!! any help !!!!!
-
might be in the market for golf vr highline can anyone give me any advice on what to look out for..... :D
-
i agree would rather have the lotus but i am after a series 1 just prefer them, more raw but i'm not in any rush kinda waiting for a real bargain but just thought that was a bit of a bargain really, are there any issues with a cat d car with ins etc or is not that much of a problem....
-
sorted !! it sold for 9 grand tho and i agree the turbo is the one to have but it's only 4 years just trying to remember what cat d covers, i still think that is a bit of a bargain....
-
i'm just watching a vx 220 on ebay it's fsh ruby red with 25 thousad on the clock hard top incl but is recorded cat d with previous onwer but is is about to finish and is only 9000 and res is met what do we think bargain or not !!!
-
nice thats the answer i was after only things is euro car parts of gsf don't seem to list on there websites will give em a ring on monday anyone have any ideas on what they cost...
-
so, got the car back from ats with the diadnosis, m/c is on its way out which is'nt really a problem 36 quid from gsf but oh no thats not all apperantly the rear brake compensater is leaking too and they won't touch it and reckon it's a vag job !!!! can anyone shed some light on the best way to get this sorted as my local vag is a f***ing rip off at the best of times.. oh the joys of old cars really loosing my patience now...... it's an ever growing list of reciepts at the moment..... but thumbs up again for ats they did all this within an hour of dropping of the car and fixed a rubber on the exhaust that had snapped off for free, happy with that....
-
nice idea will do 8)
