    My new G60

pkripper- 2 hours, well thats a result will have to give darren a ring tomorrow. son of a beesting- she is lovely and drives like new, she is a real testament to all your hard work, but don't worry she has gone to a good home, (had to put the fuel filter back on yesterday tho, must of worked it's way loose :D ) phil k- cheers buddy, the grey or silver have always been my favourite colour for a c, she is riding low but so far have'nt had any problems the 50mm front spoiler probably helps :D

nice that sopunds very resonable, how long did they need your car for :?: the miltek is a funny one in my opinion, when it's cold it sounds a bit like the mk2 8v but once warmed through and been on a bit of a run it does sound lovely especially with the cat bypass, and the fit is lovely, i would recommend it deffinately.

    My new G60

cheers buddy, gonna leave as is for now, i like the oe look of it, obviously it's lowered but imho all corrado's should be, as soon as i've got some money i'm gonna have a chat with either G-werks or JMR and have it chipped and pulleyed :D she has had alot of money spent on her and is totally ready for the upgrades, will eventually have the golf intercooler fitted but as the winters comin theirs no rush so once i've done my research on the chips and pulleys, prices etc that will be the next thing to be done.... she pulls like a train at the mo i'm well impreesed so i'm looking forward to even more

  7. i saw an enzo on the the m3 not so long ago, only glimpsed it tho as it was pouring with rain and we were both in the fast lane :D he was north bound i was south bound, the rarest car i have seen has got to be my grandads Jenard Jabeca it's the only 1 left, they only ever made 3 back in the fifties one was written off during testing and the other in the race, it basically looks like a softer ac cobra, long bonnet, big arches etc lovely car and drifts round corners on those radials like you would'nt belive.
  8. hey peeps what sort of price am i looking at to pay a specialist to replace a lamba sensor and a speed senser :?:
  9. when i was working at thruxton we used to get to take the 355 and 360's out to warm them up etc :D and yes the 360 did exactly what it was designed to do but the 355 (especially in black ) did it better, and on a hot lap there really was'nt a lot in it, and taking the 355 round church at 135 was something i reccommend to anyone who loves being on the limit..... god that was a good job.....
  10. having had 2 c vr's and currently running a mk3 vr i can certainly vouch for the love of the noise responce and silky smooth delivery, but i was just weighing up onwing a c with a decent conv. against a vr, as i can't seem to break the c pull but am willing to admit to myselyf that i can't afford to run a vr with the amount of miles i do..... as it goes once i sell my mk3 i'm gonna go sensible for a while and then treat myself to a westy or something alike... cheers for all the comments guys
  11. nice cos it's the 1.9 it's not a car it's the van 206 they did so theres no air con or e/w windows etc so should be all good can't say i'm getting to excited but needs must.... cheers guys
  12. what do we think to this, i was basically thinking today about the running costs of a good conversion on a corrado, are they gonna be the same as a vr or do we think it could be happy days....... :?:
  13. might be looking at a 206 1.9 diesel o1 y plate on 82,000 full p/s/h just had service with belts etc can anyone tell me what i should be looking out for, i realise it's reasonably high milleage for year but it's a good price and close to me any help would be much appreciated.

    Petrol Boycott,

will do shell it is then, personally i think this is a good idea, it does'nt matter how many miles ya do if we could drop it, if only 10p it would make a big difference to everyone especially if ya run a charged vr
  15. fair point, that would be uncomfortable.... :D
  16. nice one olly, i've always wanted to do this, you did'nt fancy taking the mk1 with you then, i might pm you for some more info if thats cool.... c's just look so at home on a track.......
  17. i would love to have the time and money!! gotta be a bitch to keep up together tho..... dinkus, i think there about 10 quid from halfords sold as a pair, i think thats what i paid anyways !!!!
  18. ied agree with that i wonder if it's 4 or 5 speed !!!! theres a link under the 2nd photo....
  19. thats lovely i always keep an eye out for one of these and never ever have i seen one for sale, well done for finding one, i'm very green....... i can ask what you paid for it if you don't mind.
  20. well he is on about a rallye in white with fpsh 55000 on the clock for 4000 but i think he will be happy with what people have to say, he has had a vr and numorous golfs i think he just fancys a chnge..
  21. a friend of mine is looking to buy one these and asked me what i thought but i could'nt really comment as i have never driven one, can anyone on here give me some pointers for him.
  22. love it, i bet that is a massive smile factor on a sunday afternoon :D
  23. put it this way i am so against this that if !!! it actually comes into effect i'm gonna move abroad, theres no way it's gonna work out for me, on there current plans just my run up the m25 is going to cost me just under a 100 quid, five days a week sometimes for 4 weeks or more you do the math, no chance, and chris exactly my thoughts how long will it take before they will be used for speeding.... my love for this country is becoming less and less day by day.
