I never got around to test fitting the adaptor as I've been rather ill. It's next on the list though, hopefully within a couple of months.

A good DIY Guide here; http://www.gulfcoasteuros.com/forums/?showtopic=62463 -
At least the first one will be nice and warm for those winter runs.

Thanks for the info, that's just what I need for my o2s setup.

Thought about this when mine packed up. I know when (if) it works you can hear the system clunk and feel movement in the pedal. Would an Mot tester notice or care? I doubt it. Something like an aftermarket interior light timer would probably work ok but would have to have a short delay. In the end I tried another ABS ecu and it solved my problems.

VR6 fusebox plug locations, plug colours and wire colours...
science replied to unit3's topic in Engine Bay
Have the wires been disconnected from the plugs? If not it should be quite easy as the plugs will only fit in the appropriate sockets, here's a some good info to get you started; http://www.a2resource.com/electrical/CE2.html You will have a few wires left over as there's some additional wiring on Corrados. Best have a go and see what you are left with. -
Hi Neil, do you have the tyre size and offset for these?

I went for standard front bushes (don't have the P/N) and R32/TT rear bushes P/N 8N0407182A

Sweet! Wish I had a reason to have a T on mine!

Series is fine. 100mm separation will be ok if they are running parallel but perpendicular is best if they cross over. You can't just daisy chain them, you will need a network switch at each point you want to continue. At a push you can use a pc with two Ethernet ports and share the connection, but it would have to be switched on whenever you wanted to use the next connection point. Hope this helps.

Have a look in here; Volkswagen Engine Management ECU`s http://www.corrado-club.ca/tech/vwecucodes.htm Yours in Bosch Motronic 2.91, at the very least you will need a Motronic 2.91 ecu, I'm unsure of any wiring differences.

Rebuilt VR6 engine – horrible clicky, tapping noise – Help please!
science replied to kingkenny100's topic in Engine Bay
Have you bled the chain tensioner bolt? It may have air in it after rebuild and especially after oil starvation. After bleeding, I would take the rocker cover off and turn it over by hand to see how the chain tension is. -
Looks good, what's the bore size, and how loud is it?

There's a good discussion of the pros and cons here; http://forums.hackaday.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=600

Wow, thats a beauty. I'm not sure but if that's the serial number you have no.2 of 500. Special indeed!

Anyone know the outer diameter of the VR6 throttle body?
science replied to Hofmiester's topic in Engine Bay
I think it's odd size, 80mm but you should find a 79mm hose will fit. -
No probs, ill get round to it it's been 3 years since I did it,so ill have to have another look at it. The b5 passat handbrake has a different shape, which might suit the Corrado tunnel better if its not too long, worth a try?

Thanks! It's my Lamba that isn't working. ---------- Post added at 8:30 AM ---------- Previous post was at 8:29 AM ---------- I thought the window relays were behind the rear panel?
