  1. Sorry to butt in here, but how much are your KR manifolds? Planning on getting one for my old man's Mk2 Golf for his Christmas!
  2. That was me!!!! Bizzarly enough I saw you drive past - even though I was playing football!!! Small world! Wahey! I'd almost given up hope of having a reply in here! :)
  3. L*** WHS spotted on Clyde Street (or Clyde Place, can never remember which is which!) in Glasgow during the week...
  4. Sorry to butt in here, but how do you go about adjusting the brake bias valve?
  5. There's something not quite right about them. I think the problem is that they make the car look really slab sided. No? :)

    Tyres

I've also read a few good reviews of the Kumho Ecsta KU31. Has anyone used them or heard anything good/bad about them?

    Tyres

You'll get lots of differing opinions on tyres, but I'm on Toyo Proxes T1-S, although these are being phased out for the T1-R. Been through two sets now and I've been quite impressed with them. I'm sure there'll be somewhere in Stirling doing them for a decent price, but I got mine from Fair Deal Tyres in Grangemouth for £40 each fitted. Hope this helps! :)
  8. Saw a green 16V (I think) parked up in Bridge of Allan last weekend. It was next to a park where some guys were playing football if that helps?! :)
  9. Which article is that in? Haven't read them all yet...
  10. Its really interesting to look back over these articles, makes you realise just how highly regarded the Corrado was when it was available new!
  11. I thought it was quite good, spent most of Christmas Day reading it anyway! :)
  12. My old man bought me a book full of articles like this for Christmas last year. Makes for interesting reading! He bought it off eBay, here's a link to an active auction...

    New Skyline

Didn't Nissan (or Nismo, can't remember which), buy back a few R34 Skylines a while ago to tart up and sell on again? I'm sure I read that somewhere! :)

    ABS Yes or No?

I'm not too sure my ABS is working, I've had at least one lock-up I can remember. If it does happen, I just come off the brake pedal and then go straight back on it again. Isn't that known as cadence (probably not the right spelling) braking?
  15. Was it a front or rear tyre that went?
  16. Just a shame the car isn't right hand drive! :)
  17. Drove alongside a red 16V (I think it was anyway, body coloured Corrado badge on the back) just outside of Govan last night. Any takers? :)
  18. I've just gone for Fast Road front and rear and a Mk2 Golf diesel gearbox mount. Seems OK to me!
  19. Will do! The car was dynoed at Star Performance in Kirkcaldy before I bought it, but all I've got is the receipt and not the printout! Thanks again for the exhaust wrap link Henny, I put my order in so should hopefully see it early next week. Been out in the car again and clocked up about 50 miles. Feels like a completely different car! The Vibratechnics mounts make a hell of a difference. Used to turn into a corner and then feel the weight of the engine shift over, but now it feels nice & pointy. Been a bit down about the car for a wee while now, what with it chucking out blue smoke on the overrun and rattling away to itself (tappets), but now the Corrado smile is firmly back on my face! :D
  20. Just back from the first drive after the rebuild and I'm proper chuffed! :) The engine is really quiet and really smooth and the manifold gives the exhaust a more offbeat note at idle...hmm! Got a good few weeks of running in ahead of me, but I'm looking forward to getting all that out of the way and exploring the upper regions of the rev range again!
  21. Here's a link to an active eBay auction by the same seller. The 'Buy It Now' price is the same as when I bought mine.
  22. Started the engine for the first time since the rebuild...IT'S ALIVE! No fitment issues with the manifold, fell into place without any problems. I got rid of the CAT a while ago because it was buggered, I've got a CAT bypass pipe on the car at the moment. I'd seen the Raceland manifold on German eBay, but then noticed the OBX one. It's a really well made bit of kit, T304 stainless steel and for £160 delivered to my door from the States I'm not complaining!
  23. Cheers for that mate! What does it mean by 1" x 15 in the options drop down menu? 1 inch wide by 15 inches long?
  24. OK. Next question, where do I get some?! :)
  25. The manifold is connected up to the rest of the exhaust system waiting for the engine to go back in, which has been out for the past week for a full rebuild. There don't appear to be any clearance issues so far, but I'll see what its like once its bolted to the head! Engine should be going back in tonight, so I'll keep you posted. Don't have any exhaust wrap for it, is it advisable?
