  1. If I didn’t have one knowing what I know now, I’d be interested. It’ll be worth a lot more in years to come if cared for.
  2. I’d certainly look at it but electrical gremlins and running problems are notoriously difficult to get to the bottom of, good look matey, keep at it.
  3. Oem Immobiliser lets it crank but it won’t fire crank all day long without a hint of firing I had a new key because of new barrel for my old Corrado and it wouldn’t fire up, turns out I needed the old chip out of the old key into the new one then sorted. This is how I know it will crank
  4. You definitely need a battery and wires for your central locking to work.
  5. Can you put my name down for one please easy while I scramble the money together, should be good for the weekend. Cheers
  6. Does it just hook onto your existing handle ?

  8. I don’t think they would go with my lovely electric, heated leather recaro seated car though.
  9. 370ish ;) with about 15 psi full boost.
  10. You said it was as comfy as your Passat
  11. Tosh Should have left with a turbo
  12. Door windows come out easy, especially as the locator bracket has come off. Try liquid metal. Sticks real good as long as scuffed good.
  13. Great stuff. Great thread keep it up. Did you know the cast alloy baffled sump off a m4 I think fits, it’s a straight swap because it’s not the shallow one. Part Number: 021103601L http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?58478-Group-Buy-2-8-24V-VR6-baffled-sump
  14. You’ll drive yourself crazy Keyo. The specialist side bolsters are pointier than the original electric ones. There is a very nice set of mint cloth ones on eBay for £1600 with rears to match. They look good value. I typed in corrado recaro in the search and it brought up some seat bases as well that might be useful if you go the new recaro route. Not cheap though. Good luck Wiechers Seat Console 405mm for VW Corrado-RIGHT Starr
  15. Remove the grill first http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?104296-Snapped-Bonnet-Release-Cable
  16. A Corrado owner deserves a good dolup of luck now and again. Nice one Ray
  17. You should be able to see if the motors are powered when you press the window button with a test light/bulb on the motor power in.
  18. Powered by a s solid state battery in the bay, bliss
  19. Good find, true appreciation, better with kw v3’s anyway ;)
  20. Id be surprised if this is still for sale at the end of the month. It’s one of four left, professionally restored with everything working, may not get the full 30 big ones for it though.
  21. Both ends of the sills having looked at the mot history, you have to remove the front wing to fix the front of the sills and not sure if you can still get the repair panel either. Also they’ve pulled blue smoke on acceleration which to me could be ovaling of piston bores, shot rings or valve stem seals or combination of them, head off. The vr6 is a bit noisy in general the chains can slap about if they or the tensioner is worn. Go through the receipt for the engine work and see what was replaced, if it wasn’t rebored it may need it now.
  22. Try greasing the handle and oiling the lock mechanism that picks up the stricken pin. Open the door and try a screwdriver on the leaver in the mechanism that picks up the striker pin on the door, the bit that moves when you close the door. You should be able to flick this lever over easily into the closed position, then operate the handle to throw the lever back in position. It should be easy without much resistance.
