  1. It does look the part matey. We’ll see how good it is when it hits the road which shouldn’t be long now It’s a J&R one, came in at an eye watering £17 delivered. Wouldn’t normally buy one of the cheapest on the market but from what I can gather if it starts off good they are fairly trouble free. Hopefully given time I can give it a good review. If not I’ve got to come up with something else but at least I can move the car about under it’s own power now which I couldn’t do yesterday.
  2. After being messed about by a drive shaft seller I’ve decided to just change the cv joint for how much it cost, I figured it was worth a try after the shenanigans with carsparesdirect. I did think to upgrade as you said Keyo but I figured I’d rather the shaft than the box as that costs a lot more. Not that bad a job to be honest.
  3. The fail in 16 was for insufficient washer liquid apparently. 😖
  4. Shouldn’t be long looking at that. 👍
  5. Not touched the car for nearly 4 weeks since I got recovered after loosing drive on the way home, put it in the garage in disgust. Anyway after some calming and time doing housey stuff I’m missing the beast so yesterday pushed it out of the garage for a wash and back in and today I’ve jacked it up to diagnose the problem. As luck would have it, it isn’t total destruction of my 10 month refurbished Quaif lsd box. It is however total destruction of the drivers UJ on the drive shaft. So need to replace the drive shaft. Anybody had any experience of drive shaft madness from firms such as J and M or any other firm. Not sure about a 2nd hand eBay item, or maybe someone on here has a known good one they don’t want anymore. cheers guys
  6. I suppose it’s because good stuff is so hard to get you can’t let something go or pass it up. Speed line centre caps are the latest.
  7. You have a shrick and a good standard one to put on, why on earth would you buy another ? but thanks for the heads up you mad hoarder😘
  8. They are very expensive for what they are anyway fen. They get cracked with people leaning in the wrong place when looking in the engine bay, I didn’t know nothing about that till someone broke mine, I’ve struggled like hell fo a year to get a really good one, but thanks to Keyo’s spot a couple of weeks ago I now have a good standard one as well as a couple of spares if some breaks my new one.
  9. It is mate yes. But the smudge marks on it won’t come off, so was thinking of spaying it up, apart from that it’s pretty good.
  10. Coloured one with part number on it
  11. Sticking could be a cause of lack of grease on the hold/release mechanism in the front panel and the pins that go into them on the bonnet
  12. I know what you mean, I don’t like any sort of job that involves wires, I have to build myself up to it.
  13. I bought one of these off eBay a while ago as well and exactly the same colours although not brand new, I’ll get some pics up tomorrow.
  14. Got sound better than stock. Like the connectors too 👍
  15. Good suggestion fla. failing that I’ve removed standard shocks before without them, then taken them to bits off the car
  16. Absolutely brilliant 😂😂😂 I think you ought to have a beer this afternoon
  17. I wonder if it was for the Asian market ABV VR6s’ from Japan looks the same in the first photo
  18. Johnson’s baby oil works well with rubber
  19. It seems to rejuvenate old rubber if not too far gone and makes it easier to clean so black shite stops coming off it. Miracle stuff Keyo
  20. Good for around the sunroof seal too. Stops it sticking to the opening when not In use over winter and makes all rubber stuff look quite new again if applied in time.
  21. You’ve got to love a free easy fix. There often a lot more to it than a quick squirt will resolve.
  22. Welcome to Corrado madness. There’s a plastic ignition switch that fits onto the bottom of the barrel and held on with a little screw. Pretty sure still available from the dealer. It may also be the barrel has gone sloppy, you have to drill a hole in the housing to get this out, with the new barrel infront of you it is obvious where. Try changing the switch first much easier.
  23. Would they be fused independently or maybe the radio switches from one to the other with power from the radio. I too have no idea and only guessing
  24. Unfortunately not all were powered, if the first photo is of your original aerial it’s not powered.
