I couldn’t get the plastic cowlings for mine they were obsolete although you can still get the fan housing through classic parts via heritage. -

Hope everything has been off recently before. I took all my front end off to do it. Bumper and slam panel, took about 2 hours for that lot and it was easy after that. Don’t forget to get a new radiator switch/sender and O ring and a new top hose elbow with o ring. I used a hella/VW radiator it fitted great after removing a bracket thing You didn’t need to get the fan housing to fit, check condition of this as well you may need a new one from classic parts if it’s rusted too bad. Good luck Shaun -

FOR SALE Split Rims, Late Black Cloth Seats, Gaz Coilovers!!
1xshaunx1 replied to stu37's topic in Parts for Sale
The coil overs are height adjustable. So you can set the height and stiffness you want. What et are your wheels. My MO8 are et 30 and I set them just a bit lower than standard and had no rub. -
Lucky get. Lol. If you find find two can I have the other one?

FOR SALE Split Rims, Late Black Cloth Seats, Gaz Coilovers!!

I've had Gaz Gold fitted to mine for 7 years and they've been pretty good tbh. Some one did a write up in the definitive guide on them not sure on the difference to GHA though but seem similar. If you go really low on them and Jack the car up the spring can leave it's mount and need locating when lowered again. But someone else might say that is tosh, just what I noticed when messing. -
Terrible luck matey. I can't imagine how I'd feel if that were mine. You seem to have got your head around though, good for you.

1xshaunx1 replied to Alistair Mckenzie's topic in Cars for Sale [Corrado]
There should be sticker in the boot with extras and paint coded n stuff on. My guess is LK4Z. Which would make it a Blackberry/Bramble to give a proper colour description:) -

Would anybody be interested in set of these et 30 with centre caps and slight curbing to 3 of them. Tyres legal but nearly to markers goodyear f1. PM your email and I'll send some photos over next week when I'm home again. -
Mines a bit wider, the issue I had although you could easily get 2 cars in it was that planing said I had to be able to get a car lengthways on the drive 6m or something,so width wasn't a problem but depth of the extension had to reduce by half a metre. Ridiculous. Point is they were more concerned about off road parking on the drive than the size of the extension. My architect sorted in the end, it was a compromise with them without us going legal.

Jim do you still want to sell yours :) I have pm'd you Cheers

Having said that when sitting @ 4K revs for a good while you could see 120 degrees but water at 90.
-
Your oil temp is a guide aswell as to weather the cooling system is working properly. Should sit when upto temp after about 10 mins at about 100-110 no matter what traffic or outside temp. If it's not getting there or seeing it go over that there's a good chance something is wrong.

Both my corrados were projects to make my own aswell Dazz, one very much still is. Not everyone has time money and space to see them through though, I question my own sanity at times. In my earlier post I was suggesting maybe why they were fetching more money than they were, I also think being on wheeler Dealers helped a bit getting the ball rolling.
-
I also think that the higher prices are flushing some of the better ones out. If everything works and they are pretty clean people will pay that bit more rather than buy cheap and spend a fortune on repairs and parts they can't get hold of. There's also more cash about than 5 years ago. But whichever car you are after you will always get some git over pricing some rusty unreliable nail.

Awesome. !!! Happy birthday, be a shame to eat it.

Strange. I had a similar issue to you, changed everything I thought it could be and was old, still the same. It wasn't till I put a new rad on with a new vw rad sensor that it worked properly after 20 miles or so.
