If you type Corrado headlight plug Into eBay you can buy a pair of new ones for £15 Not to hyjack your thread, just to let others who might want them know :)
-
Isn’t it the one on eBay that went for 12k not long ago. A bit of spray and some detailing. I wonder how long he’ll have it for
-
You were warned. But having waited this long I bet it’s harder to compromise on colour now. Good luck Ross

Why do you think you need the module? Was the spoiler working in your ownership
-
Hi Anna. What date might you be looking at.
-
When you find one you will need the anti vibration mounts to fit the motor to the door. Type in the below into EBay search M6 anti vibration bobbin. Take your pick

My mate recently had to spend £250 sorting the ecu on his mini, I know it’s a different car but the lesson is the same. The reason for this is the cheep £40 coil pack he bought to replace his grubby looking genuine one, just failed after 13 months and shorted out, frying his Ecu. Cheapest isn’t always best, if it seems too cheap it generally is. Some parts aren’t that different but electrically is by the best you can afford with a name like Bosch stamped on it

1993 VR6 Radiator Info And Replacement proceedure.

Yes but it’s nice to press a button and not have to mess with a key. You can also hook the alarm up to a tracker and if it goes off they ring you and you go check or if it’s moving and shouldn’t be the police go and check. Good and not so good points with everything you buy. I think it’s also worth noting when considering an alarm, it should be in keeping the value of the car. There’s no point spending £1k alarming a car worth £2k. Thieving older cars for parts is on the up easier than ringing cars. I sleep better knowing I have some security on mine. Horses for course I suppose. -
The switches will be different. But I can’t help with numbers. Have you tried ringing the dealer. If anything it’s worth doing just in case they still do them to hear what crazy price they want for them.

How long is a piece of string. Should imagine you are looking at £100-£200 for the alarm, £200 being a base Clifford or similar and £100-£200+ for fitting depending on issues. where are you based -
How much are they going for? Do I have gold in the garage

That’s annoying me and it’s not even mine

1993 VR6 Radiator Info And Replacement proceedure.

Seems a bit much before you start I agree. But soon starts falling apart once you get stuck in as you said. Sense of accomplishment with the radiator replaced and a kick in the crotch from the alarm. I feel your pain. My suspension swap has ground to halt this weekend due to non original items found half way through, there’s always something to slow you down. But you win, new alarms aren’t cheap. I Had a Clifford fitted before Christmas. Having or fitting a new alarm can also open up a new can of worms as you delve into territory some one with total incompetence may have been there before. When mine was in I was talking to the owner about older cars and he said the worse he’d come across was a R S Turbo, the owner of the car booked it in to have an alarm fitted because it didn’t have one. When they opened it up to start they found 4 old alarms still wired in and chopped here and there. I’d get a good professional, respected auto electrical or stereo/alarm firm to sort it, last thing you need in Corrado ownership is electrical problems. Good luck matey -
Are you running all the loom from the VR6. If so when you turn the ignition on you should here only the auxiliary water pump running after the fuel pump prime. If you can here more stuff making noises as well there is more likely something connected to the white and blue, speed sensing circuit for the spoiler, that can make the car rough, it throws a lot of things out.
-
Good man. I got one from the dealers years ago and when I came to fit it I had to cut it to length and it was a complete pig to fit, especially around the corners. It’s easier to fit with the roof out but not much, I wouldn’t try fitting it with the roof in again though. When the wrestling was over the finish was pretty good though so I’m curious how you get on. Good luck matey.

I believe the headlights can be left in just unplugged. Have the bolts going through the rad support been mentioned there are 5 or 6 on the chin spoiler these also need to come out -
The ecu will need the transponder with it. Then just swap the chips in the keys. You can leave the locks alone. Alternately there are people that can delete the one imobiliser function in the ecu, I’m sure that was done on one of mine.

This happened to me a couple of weeks ago. A europart item fixed it in no time. -
Super loud popping/clunking from front passenger wheel area

I agree with Dox. Good chance the shocks doing very little. -
The system bleeds itself easily normally,a short run and a top up after usually does it. How quickly does it achieve this heat. If it takes forever and struggling to reach temps could be thermostat stuck open.

It’s hard to tell when you haven’t got one in front of you hasan. It’s an easy error. The thing I noticed with the few later one I’ve seen, is that the top elbow plastic bend thing of the drivers mech is yellow in colour but I don’t know for sure if they are all coloured the same but you would think so.

Unfortunately I’ve found if you want a seal the only way to get it off undamaged is to smash the glass and gently tease it from the bonding glue/rubber that it was stuck to.
