chargers should never make a knocking noise stop driving the car and have it inspected ..it might be repaierable if you dont drive it anymore

ive whacked up the co pot to 700ohms...seems to drive much better now with the o2 connected -
itg are foam arent they ? if so bad move and yeah the metal bits flying around dont sound ideal
-
if your going to the trouble of bare metaling it...i wouldnt be using no halfords or aerosol rubbish on it get some proper 2 part etch primer or epoxy and gun it on
-
couldnt reccomend jabba...very poor customer care there are some tuners in europe if you wanted to go that route

cheers for that ive checked the o2 signal down by the actual sensor is there any reason why i cant jam a wire in the ecu plug to make sure the signal is getting to the ecu? then again i spose it is as otherwise unplugging it wouldnt change anything -
ive always thought my g60 was a bit dull and sluggish some time ago while messing around with something i drove it with the o2 undone..it pretty much transformed the car , much more peppy and revvy , more torque steer etc so im confident in saying it drives much nicer with it unplugged ive sinse tried a new bosch sensor , drives identical to the other one all service parts are good , everything checks out as i believe it should do any ideas people ?

the rest of was scabby like most are...rot seemed to be that patch only , plenty of rusty crap fell out when i banged it on the floor though gona have the valver one off for a refurb before it gets bad
-
rack wasnt touched ...just unbolted from the frame anyway had it tracked now
-
right ..all done with no big issues drove it home and the steering is now lopsided a bit :( not much maybe like one hour on a clock face any opinions...should i loosen the bolts and see if the frame will settle and re tighten or just pay to get the tracking re set ?
-
yep thats a g60 one...wont fit the 16v
-
does the bolt not have thread lock on it already ? pretty sure mine did
-
just a random thought.. could the fact your car is so tuned, could it be almost blowing the spark out due to the extra flow? prob a silly idea but thought id mention it :camp:

stale fuel? -
yeah best do both sides , do the steering ends if you can afford it too and any other stuff like top mounts ,..then once its aligned again it should be good for a few years
-
okay thats fine :dorky:
-
are you going to the bury meet? can talk about it then
-
yeah the mrs family lives out that way....can you be without the wheel for a while?
-
where are you on the suffolk/essex border...might be local to me ive got some black dye..i could give the wheel a blast over it doesnt rub off and leave your hands black...although im not sure that it would be mega durable
-
i think g werks offers some kind of open and inspect service for cheap
-
the way i see it , you wont save any money if it goes wrong becuase he buggered it up at least theres some come back of you use a specilast company...and you'l know its right when giving it some beans
-
yeah some folk do that , the cone filter will make alot of noise too tbh mines running the stock boost return and airbox , i cant handle any more noise
