50mm inlet will bolt on...gives a little more top end at the expense of some end grunt the ebay manifolds only fit lhd cars properly -
go for a couple of second hand windows and pop round one night and take whatever revenge you see fit :hitler:

beemers often have boot /rear mounted batterys ....have a look at a few and rob its cable it will have a nice oem terminal on and save you using one of them aweful gold plated pieces of crap

cant see any point in getting anyone to map it with this fault , it doesnt sound like its the chip (s) youve tried and you dont want a new chip to mask up other faults with the car be daft to have it mapped with a ropey exh too...although im sure a leaky zaust aint causing those problems

anyone know the specs for the g60 hyd clucth hose? id like to get a braided one made up localy ,so need to know the bore and end sizes if possible

drop all the rado stuff in...aint no big deal bolting up the shifter

see if someone local has a timing light with advance control you can dial in 6 degs (or whatever you fancy) and use the tdc marks to time it

nah mine has the u bend ..its on a golf the block is damp under the dizzy and up to the gearbox, no biggie at the minute but if i can nip up a jubille or something i will

front of the engine block seems to getting damp with oil...i recon its coming from the charger oil return how does this fit to the block?

think id have the belt off and start again if you cant find the fltwheel marks use the bottom pulley and get that lined up then check to see if you can see the flywheel mark

grab the track rod end and wrestle it back n forth /up n down ..see if you can detect and play in it or clicking knocking sounds not sure if they did anything else...might be worth doing a spanner check in that area make sure everthing that matters is still tight

heard a few newman quality issues latley...various things such as the keyway in the wrong place , chunks missing off the lobes and some snapping id go shrick or keep the oem

ive tried doing a few motor bike springs...nothing seems to last or look right, its a right bugger to paint a spring lol then i had some powder coated...good as new and last forever

what ends did you use? did you get a nice seal to the orig plastic lines?

noticed the fuel hoses at either end of the fuel rail are a tad ropey im thinking about getting some braided injection hose and some rubber finisher ends to do a tidy job...any reasons why i shouldnt use braided i dont recall seeing much about at shows etc and am i likley to struggle to a get a proper seal on the orig plastic lines :hitler:

ive re used my bolts..and know several people that have as well no probs, lots of talk on vwvortex about it they should tap out with the engine in, and i guess its not a bad idea to replace them anyway -
right well heres some pics from me it seems to match up well to what yan says, small screwdriver between 2 dots...touches the rocker cover pointer exactly rocker off...straight edge on the gasket lines up very nicley bare head...doesnt line up at all and moving it one tooth still wouldnt line up??? i cant really understand how darren is suggesting it should be ..any chance of a pic darren?

no need to take the crank out....can do the big ends with the sump and oil pump off the big end bolts can be re used once -

ive read if you fit the arp bolt set you need to get the rods checked/machined as the increased torque makes em not round i bought vag ones...didnt wana risk dodgy unknown parts -
too many varibles to say set it to xx degs....just beacuse mine runs fine at xx degs yours might not try it anywhere between 5 -8 degs and see how things are

give the shear bolts a sharp tap with a chisel and hammer so that the hammer blow bashes it anticlockwise...they come undone easy enough after a few taps replace with normal bolts
