  3. cheers, i'll try that when ive made a tailpipe clamp for the sensor do you know if its advisable to set a k jet cars idle to 14.7 ?? or should i stick with a co tuner on that
  4. okay ive tried out my new LM-1 i stuffed it up the tailpipe and settled with 14.8 which equates to 505 ohms next step is a wot run to see whats happening my question is ....should i be holding the display trying to look while i drive? or does the record button store it? if so how do i know what revs/afr btw...seemed to require a lot of twidling to get 14.8 from an initial setting of 600 ohms
  5. ive just done most of my brake pipes, my other car has zinc goodrigges and the ends do rust , so stainless would be nice if you have the ££££ as for the pipes, ive never made them before..after a few tries its pretty easy to make them and the pipe is cheap enough to have a few practices i paid £25 for flaring tool with cutter £8 per roll of 3/16 copper pipe 50p per end its all fairly simple to do, although it can be time consuming laying on your drive...id suggest you do it one weekend when you wont need the car
  6. i used a air powered belt sander to get the worst off then a dremel
  7. i fitted mk4 textar pads..they DO fit ..its all sorted now
  8. not all of em have the diff lock function ..mine hasnt mine has played up twice..once a rear wheel sensor diagnosed with a multimeter and fixed for £45 2nd time the pump failed and that was £90 used , and not that hard to fit

  11. okay cheers, its just arrived so im off to investigate any tips on making the exhaust probe?? does it need to be earthed to the pipe? steve
  12. olly..did you fit yours permantly or temp?? i was hoping i could set the idle with the up the tailpipe test, then try iy in the o2 sensor postion for a run or two btw...are these lm1 easy enough to figure out? or do i need to be super brainy
  13. would it read true idle with the orig sensor disconected?
  14. just a quick question...g-man says 14.8:1 and bilal 12-13:1 i now both of you know your stuff..so what is it and one more thing..is there any special precautions to take, to help it last and not break /damage
