  5. no, pumping doesnt make it higher/normal...ive bled the whole car 3 times on a easybleed with the axle valve held open i bled it the order furthest from m/c to closest, is that right

  7. thanks for the reply , but im not convinced its that. i have test driven it and theres no change, i cant see the pads would make a low pedal cant think what to do next
  8. i have another post running regarding my low pedal after fitting mk4 calipers i wonder if ive buggered the master cylinder can someone describe what hapens if the m c is dodgy
  9. okay ive just bled another ltr of fluid through it..still low pedal, a quick test drive revealed the brakes are a bit poor too, although not really spongey anyone else have probs with them i trust im right in having the nipple at the top? should i try bleeding em unblted from the carrier? getting fed up now
  10. just did the same on mine today...timing was samw from idle to high revs...changed at say 3500 upwards though

  13. i pushed the valve across while it bled no i never bled the mc do they all have nipples???? and do i bleed that first
  14. ive just got done fitting mk4 calipers, a few hoses and pipes etc..i used an easy bleed to bleed the brakes and the handbrake works good trouble is the pedal goes almost to the floor before it works..not spongy though could i have damaged the master cly?? or just traped air...shoul i have pre filled the calipers
  15. a genuine one should last around5 years or more...quickfit specials have failed me in under a year and sound nasty so, if you need a quick fix for the MOT and then sell it, go for the bossal ..if your keeping it go for genune
  16. mine got better with reds, i guess i can get close to 30 if i drive carefully
  17. ive had dealings with jabba a few times , im not really impressed with their attitude or customer service and the stg 4 gas flowing is little more than a quick tickle up i must admit it has always made good boost, but next time i'll either tackle it myself or try to pitstop
  18. i was scared sh1tless about getting my bolt out...it came out with a hefty breaker bar , similar in tightness to a driveshaft nut maybe ask around see if anyone has a cordless impact gun..mine would wizz one out
  19. ive always had good results cleanin the isv by getting a jar of petrol/thinners and dangle the isv into the jar while its still wired in leave the ign on for 10 mins and give it a slosh around now and then

  23. i can confirm the c&r hoses come with banjo bolts and washers
  24. ive had my g60 about 4 or 5 years now, i only use it now and then so i havent done loadsa miles thing is the plugs dont look worn or bad, and theyre pretty expensive to replace for the hell of it...so how do i know when to change em??
