id say the most exp things would be...serious rust(rare) , power steering rack, cat/emmisions probs,crackedwindscreen/lamps/abs probs common probs would be brake lines/hoses , bushes ,tyres, brakes etc...all common stuff you'd be silly to pay good money for a car with little mot...anyone with any confidense will put a new mot on it

yeah they should be like vag bolts...as far as i know they all use the radius type for steel/alloys
-
its the seating area of the bolt that you need to look at...oem bbs need radius seat...most aftermarket ones use taper so thats\ / = no ( ) =yes
-
maybe they didnt mix it properly...as a rule most mettalics need blending....that is spray the door completly ,and belnd basecoat into the ajoining panles then laquer the whole lot...obviously the match needs to be somewhere near or it would still stand out
-
panels should be fine ..they have slightly differant bumpers and lights ,but it'l swap...mot should be fine and my insurance isnt high on a lhd...slightly more by about £60 than rhd

i thught i read that they were fiat coupe rear lights? and i think some lorrys?? had em....once you sourced the lamps it wouldnt be too hard to make a mold of a rear lamp and make the shell from glass fibre
-
to test the sensors...unplug each one and take a reading with a ohm meter..they should all be the same,if one is not then its faulty the mot test will just check the light goes out..take out the bulb if needed
-
my pump packed up and there was NO assistance..so i replaced the pump with a used one and had agro with that..in the end i called out an auto electrician and he made a good one out of the two for £60 might be worth a try..he was pretty good, theres a few sensors that can cause agro
