fitting a new one is easy....just like undoing a bolt (almost)...cut the wires off and use a socket to undo...i found a cheep oem one on ebay.com

set the timing to just before pinking....then ajust the idle

ive tried the drilled box on a g60..too noisey for me....does the big hole in the airbox and a tube to the carbon canister hole make the same noise...or better worse???

intresting to hear you get no more vibration...id always thought youd get a little more with all 3 mounts

if you do get it sent from usa,,,,insist they mark it " comercial sample" or "gift" and value it $20 or so...that way no vat/duty

hmmm didnt think of a sticky cable...im still thinking its a result of the idle switch going on /off

know anyone in the states? get it sent to them then im pretty sure it'l be cheeper fot them to mail it here.....theyre prob quoting with ups or something theres some decent guys on the vortex ....anyone help out??

my g60 seems a bit jerky at 2000k -1500k at very slight throttle openings....any ideas ? the throttle switch is working ,but im thinking it could still be that....its jumpy when going from slight throttle to no throtle like when creeping along in traffic its a 91 g60 ,68mm pulley,sns chip,red inj blah blah....good plugs/cap/arm/leads etc

have you seen the g60 /16v golf keys on ebay? i guess the dealer still sells em how do you get 2 batts in the key...and what voltage led do i need

i snapped one while back...they come out easy enough with grips

he means to use an aditive in the oil to flush out built up crap...some say it works,some say it dislodges dirts and makes things worse ive had good results using 1 ltr of atf(auto trans fluid) in the oil for a few days then a oil change im not sure id do it on a g60 though??

i brought my pulley from jabba a few years back.he told me they use steel cus the alloy ones tend to sharpen up from belt wear...which sort of makes sense now i realise jabba are bandits ...i just wondered if anyone has any opinon on steel vs alloy

id go with a 68/65 pulley sns chip and 3.5 fpr for starters is it all in good tune? proper plugs? new cap n arm

look at the condition of the bores..is there a ridge at the top? any scores ? is the surface of the block good? any damage where the gasket went? cambelt is easy to do,maybe a tensioner as well flush it out with a hose pipe in various hoeses ...youl need a oil change too
