I can get you some 5 spoke 16" speedline split rims, porsche fitment, for £800 brand new?
-
Try Compomotive MO's, very similar looking.
-
why use spacers? just order the wheels in the correct offset if you're buying them new.. spacers are sh1te.
-
ET32 is 9mm further out than ET43, not taking into account any difference in wheel width of course... depends on the width of the wheels you want. ET24 is a strange one. you could get ET25 by ordering BMW fitment (4 stud), but bear in mind your factory wheels are 6" wide, and you'll be looking at at least 7" wide, so you will be getting another 1/2" of width on each side of the wheel to deal with too. offests are always tricky to work out, but worth it to get the wheels sitting right.

Utterly Vee Duberly show, what did you guys think?

I bought a SIP bench grinder :D -
All later corrado's have the big wings, my 1994 8v does. so imagine how that loows, with wider wings, but still on the mk2 golf style wishbones and 35mm offset wheels, they look lost!. AFAIK, the rear arches o the later shells and the VR6 early shells have a slightly smaller lip than the earlier ones.

and if you're going to need pistons anyway, then why use a G60 block? just go for a 2.0 16v setup and stick low compression forged pistons in that. But then you'll find the G-Lader is a waste of time, so you'll be looking at turboing it, in which case, you may as well fit a 1.8T and do it for half the build cost.

don't use Silcone!!!! it has no place on a car, never use it for anything on it. Use sikaflex 221.
-
eh? thanks for the tip, but it meant nothing too me, I'no computer expert! can you explain any further please?
-
ET43, the plus axle wishbones and wider rear axle on the VR6 cancel it out so they sit in the arches the same as the other non-vr6 cars. but they STILL put wider arches on them?!!??
-
Was that one on the Autotrader site a couple of weeks ago?
-
It may well bolt on, but then what do you do about the breather? 16v breathes through the block, G60 breathes through the head. Oh, and as for CR, have you even considered what will happen to that? bang an ABA cross flow 8v head on it and a turbo.

What gets me is, when they reach a 30 zone, they STILL do 40!! tw4ts...

I think she wan'ts a new one. Thanks for all the help, plenty of companies to chase up there. Cheers.

Utter sh1te, where were all the cars!?!?? although it was worth going to see the corrado campaign. -
magic, cheers.
-
what can I say, WOW! that interior is mental! and the dusty mauve paint really suits the corrado too. Impressive car (shame about the car bra though....but I guess it serves a purpose) Pics coming soon.

I finally changed the wheels! Dug the old 15" Le Castellets out of the garage and nitromorsed all the lacquer off. Didn't have time to give them a good polish as I had to whack them on the car before it went dark, and I didn't fancy putting any paint stripper on the wheels whilst they were on the car for obvious reasons. Pics coming as soon as I have some daylight.

Mines well tight, it fells like the brake pedal! now, it's an 8v, but I want to fit a VR6 in the near future. if I buy a VR6 cable now, will it work with the 8v? or vice versa? anyone got the part number for that one, I haven't got ETKA at the mo. can't get it working on XP.

It shouldn't get up to 110 if the fans come on at 90 like they're meant to. Do they?
-
The first speed of the fan with be goosed, common fault.
