errr, well if i'm not mistaken it's generally a good rule! (although not ALWAYS the case..."designer label" clothing being a good example) and if it's cheap, then that tells me that ther hasn't been any development..... so why is DTA £800, Autronic £1400, and Motec (generally regarded as the best available) knocking on for £2000?? because it's in a shiny gold anodised case? I think not....

you'd be better off running it off a program you've written yourself and running it off your PDA.....with bluetooth. come on, honestly, how good can it possibly be at that price?

Hmm, red rear light, LM's, roll cage, deleted exhaust, just like mine then! I'm going stripped intierior with cage next too. I always loved this car, long before I had a Corrado myself. I relaly wish now I'd gone down this route fromt he start instead of wasting money on the Recaro leather and retrim :-( I SO badly want some Recaro GT's like those.

that's the one I posted up a while ago with the CUP1's on it and the GT3 seats. he's been saving on vortex that he's replacing the vr6 turbo with a 1.8T......the fool. It used to be my all time favourate corrado. he's slowly ruining it now.

top mounts? ball joints? even my mk4 had stiff steering when it's been parked up all night and I turn the wheel for the first time, aftert hat it's fine.

I really haven't got time to read the whole thread, but may I point out that just aout EVERYONE on this forum has a lowered car. so the track rods on all our cars are running at a non-factory angle, i.e. pointing upwards. so how can you possibly expect them to work perfectly??? Anyone got a totally standard car that DOESN'T have any steering rack issues?

he's got the dyno plot from stealth...........he'd be silly if he does. over 200lbs.ft from 1800rpm........

he won't be fitting a quafie. he'd have to sell the 4wd to fund it. yes, true, it could be on the road. in fact, if I were in his position, I would acutally get the engine done and take it for a spin in 2wd for a laugh, then bring it straight back in and cut the boot floor out.

I don't think anyone can complete with those electronic gizmos. but I'll try ;-)

just think though, with haldex, you can just turn it off! (or unplug the diff) as it's electronically controlled. so he CAN see what it's like without it after all. (no CAN-gate pun intended (bad haldex joke))

that's because it was a 1.8T and not a VR ;-)
