no probs, it's a good thread! I sent my N70 back to nokia today, bought a sharp Gx25 as a temporary pay as you go phone for the meantime, the screen on it it AMAZING! never seen anything like it on a phone. sharp by name....

do it!!! my 4 motion is fantastic, I love it. I get 23mpg average, but I can get 36mpg on a steady 70mph long run. They are pretty good on juice once you're moving, but give that throttle a poke and it'll fly down to 9mpg!!! I get 300 miles out of £55 no problem. lush cars, just be aware that boras never fetch as much as golfs do so don't pay over the odds, nice to have leather, even better if it's recaro. I've been told that 4 motions without all the toys just don't sell becasue they are the sort of car that people spec everything on and expect it to be there. seen 4 mothins with cloth going for £6500, but anything up to £12K for a top of the line minter with everything!

Lee, listen to the comments about the lights, they really do ruin the look of the car, everything esle is pretty much spot on, then you get to the back and it's WHOA!!!!! what's going on there..

lights look like an R34 skyline. should be a 2 door.

hell no. flat, bright colours look arse on a corrado. yellow, white, red. all look rubbish. stick to dark metallics.

I do, and they are bloody annoying! can't get rid of the voicemail one, it's there constantly, even though I haven't got any voicemails. bluetooth one is always on of couse, and it took me ages to work out that the call divert one was on too. ruins the wallpaper!

well, I must confess to owning a 1980 VW DERBY 1.1S.......that was utter crap, but it was only £90,and i got a year out of it and sold it for that so I can't complain.

I had mine wiped and reloaded with the lastest firmware today. still no bluetooth, won't talk to my pc or the GPS. that code doesn't work either??

haven't got them mounted yet, still need to make a bracket up for that. NP on the fairing, it was only taking up space. you'll have to send me some pics of his TRX, they are few and far between! The golf isn't mine, just one I'm workign on for a friend. S3 motor in a MINT small bumpered 16v.

If you'd bee reading the updates you'd have seen exactly what's been happening. The guy got back of his holiday on monday and has just emailed me again. He won't give any indiaction of discount unless I give him numbers. So I had a quick count up and got to around 20 buyers off this thread. I can open it to other forums so the number will go a lot higher than that. I have just told him 20 minumum so I am now waiting for his reply. Sorry it's took so long, I was expecting the whole process to be a lot easier than this, I've done a group buy before with a single phone call......

For some reason my Nokia N70 now WILL NOT find or talk to my TOM TOM GPS2. I know the GPS device is ok as I can connect to it with my laptop. It's been giving me bother for a while, crashing all the time, and dropping the connection between the GPS. usually I just turn it off and on again, but a few times I've had to delete the bluetooth pairing and reconnect it. But now it won't find it anymore!?!? Help!?!!

I'm into nothing but Alpines myself. Got a trusty old CDA7944R which is just THE best sounding unit I've ever heard. Proper competition spec unit with no internal amp. even the power inverter is outside the casing (which is also copper plated to keep out interference. it's the lick, £729 in 2000!!! I got it for £429, which was the same price I paid for a 7827 10 years ago! got a 7832R and another one that I can't remember the name of! Never even seen a Becker so I have no idea what they are like

why not just leave it polished? I think polished alloy looks much nicer than chrome anyway. Is it purely for maintance/cleaning reasons?

why didn't you create a poll "how many corrado's in your town" then you'd find out if it is an unusually high number or not. I'd say it is! I can only think of 3 that I see in/around york

It just so happens I'm rebuilding a mk2 golf at the moment in preparation of an s3 engine install. I'll post up some pics (with the car owners permission) as I'm refurbishing all the parts so you can see what's involded. The phrase "better than new" springs to mind,
