I had an aftermarket coilpack on mine Jon and when it got really hot it did the same, no power and sounded like it was running on 4, pulled over waited 10 mins for it to cool down and was fine, as soon as it got hot again got the same problem, bought a decent one and had no issues since.

I think I have one, just the skin is it you need?
-
i bought the blue heated ones off ebay, took 2 mins to swap over and all works fine.

Also if your using ddi faces remove the two original bulbs as they look far better lit up without these shining in the background!

This is what it will be Lee!! I've had endless problems with mine not sticking down completely flat, so the ddi face rubs on the back of the needle making it not move, I took the needles off carefully using a fork then used 3m double sided thin tape and stuck them down all over, been perfect since. You can check this by looking carefully at the volt needle, you will see if the ddi face is touching the needle base. Any problems pm me and I'll send you my number.

Lee are they standard gauges or have they the ddi faces on them?
-
they are still available new.

Fla was reading my mind haha!!

Sounds to me like the cable is adjusted slightly too tight as this would leave the passenger side catch shy! With the bonnet open look into the holes where the locking mechanisms are and check the passenger side lever is the same distance out as the drivers side.

They look like they are the Heko ones.
-
How hard are these to fit? And what sort of power do they give?
-
I'd be in too!
-
I hope its fine when you get it back.

Have you read the Wiki Lee? http://wiki.the-corrado.net/gauge_pod_fitting_guide.html These are dead easy to fit, took me about half an hour to fit mine.
-
hahaha i feel your pain brother!!

I'm always too late!!!
-
if you do buy the mk 4 tank i have a brand new mk 4 cap for it.
-
What about these?
-
Yes as Jon says, one bolt either side behind bumper, so needs to come off. Heat up the body sealant with a warmish heat gun to make it a lot easier to remove.
-
It was yeah!!! For some reason when I read your post I just pictured vdo dials haha!! Can't say I've seen any ddi dials for sale though I'm afraid.

there was a set on here yes, I think the guy ended up putting them on ebay. they had damaged glass if I remember right, cloudy looking.

Sounds to me like you have a leak somewhere if that amount of moisture is on the windows! Have you checked for damp carpets etc?
