Looks spot on! Give it 5 mins until the anti stretched tyre brigade turn up though

Yeah, was just thinking the same with regard to the seat backs! It really does look like you're making cracking progress though and the results speak for themselves! Have you done the head rest on the passenger seat yet? It looks a bit darker than the rest of the seat for some reason...
-
Might be a little small for your liking but my wifes got an Audi A2 and loves it! Well worth having a look at and if you go for the 1.4 tdi road tax is only £45 a year!!!

I must admit I prefer: 1: Satin Siver 2: Pearl Grey 3: Mystic Blue 4: Black (what ever the correct name is for it) 5: Light Grey (what ever the correct name is for it) The worst colours for me are: 1: Yellow 2: Any of the Greens 3: Red - but mainly because it fades to pink far to often!

Having recently taken delivery of a white car I have to agree that white is a cracking colour! Your C looks great and sits really well on those rims! I've uploaded your pic for you in your original post...

Yeah the heater lights are generally cr4p... most likely a friday afternoon design! The lamp for the unit is housed behind the center dial and is supposed to light all off the controls but the amount of light lost from the center to the outer controls is quite major. I put a slightly brighter lamp in my controls and it did help but the outer dials were still not great. The only other option is to bucher the controls and glue some LED's behind the panel. I don't know how easy this will be to do as I never really looked into that option. Anyway, best of luck with the Storm - look forward to seeing some pics of it at some point!

Completely over the top but I do agree that the passenger obviously played a role in this. I think the sentance is over the top and I also dont agree with the ban! There needs to be much more consistancy in how people are sentanced in this country!
-
Does look pretty cool... not too keen on the dark headlights though!
-
Just a set of nicely finished all red rears completes the look on Satin Silver for me!
-
nah.. nice to look at but didn't feel special enough once inside! Still love the look of them but I still get to feel my age when driving the 1er! BMW forums still have a long way to go when you compare them with places like here though!
-
Cheers chaps... I have been thinking aboput going gun metal grey on the rims and I'm also tempted to get the BMWP CF spoiler (don't worry it is tasteful ) I'm just not sure I want to spend money on modding a company car too much! John... the surround is still waiting for you to collect it! I am sure that was the arangement? Anways, would be good to catch up at some point matey!
-
Well it feels like I've been gone for ages and I have a LOT of catching up to do on here... Basicly I've been super busy with work trying to turn around a team of project engineers in the south east and it's looking like this year our region will have record sales for the company! Still thats no excuse I guess! Some of you will know that I sold the LCR towards the end of the summer and opted back into having a company car to save some money. I am now knocking around in a nice little 120d M Sport Coupe which is keeping me fairly happy but come April (end of financial year) I will be in a position to buy another weekend toy and with this in mind I am seriously considering coming back to the fold but this time with an extra 2 cylinders! Anyhoo... here's a few pics of the new 1er to give y'all something to look at for the time being!

Any chance of some higher res pics? Would love to have a better look at this C 8)

Bulbs are for growing - lamps are for glowing! Get it right guys   -
Rado vs Rice : a little test, which do you prefer?
Phil K replied to The_Dude's topic in General Car Chat
I don't think I could ever go rice - mainly as I hate the interors, the styling tends to be form over function and they just seem cheep in comparison to German engineering! The red one posted earlier in this thread is totally GHEY and the black one above looks super (or should that be supra?) For a long time I didn't think I'd ever own anything outside of VAG but thats just changed slightly as of yesterday - still going german though! :D -
Well after deciding last night it was time to part with the LCR a deal has been done! It sold through Piston Heads within 6 hours of posting the ad and I got within £50 of full asking! Recession my ass  Now I feel a bit sad and also a bit excited about the new car... although I have to wait until monday to find out for sure if I can have it on the company car scheme - if I can't I will go down the personal finance route to see if thats an option aaaand if that fails then I'll still be just as happy with my second choice! I must admit to wondering if I underpriced my car though considering how quick it went!
-
Loverly car mate! Not too sure about the colour as it kind of reminds me of the old BT vans from the 80's! You obviously love it though and I'm just jealous - enjoy! 8)

Like it! These have been appealing to me recently too - not easy to find a good one though!

This is always a process that will disappoint someone but that’s just the way it is I'm afraid! I have started a new thread in the evens section so please register your interest HERE 8)
-

lol a mate at work used to joke about his jewish racing beige vectra! It's a 4wd road by the way and can handle 600hp at each set of rollers so you should be fine so long as you have less than 1200... ?
-
Ok chaps... good to see some interest! I will speak to Charlie in the next couple of days and will come back to you all with dates and prices. Please feel free to add interest with-in this thread and once things are decided and we're marching ahead I'll start a new dedicated thread to make it easier to manage... Cheers for now
