you'd be better off looking for a s/h late bonnet tbh if it does come to that... knowing what new parts prices are like I'd have thought it'd be a lot! Hope you don't have to go that route though - good luck!

I was (and I say was) really pleased with the finish but it's not even taken a week for them to start getting rust spots again!!! I guess the only way to sort this out will be to find a heat resistent laquer... I think I'm going to paint them red though as I already have the paint!!! as for what I have done to the C today... opened drivers door to find rizla and opened boot to take some rubbish out - don't want to over do it!

as well as protecting from stone chips these will also do a good job of hiding them too... Am quite tempted to get one if anyone finds out a supplier 8)

kinda.. if you mean the wind deflector I'd try giving it a spray of white grease - it's what I've done to mine and haven't (touch wood) had any problems...

Looks nice and clean dude... like the rims a lot 8) and as said before - lose the wipers, also not too sure about your ford style side repeaters... although if no one dared to be different then we'd all have cars that looked identical ;)

If it's a bitch to fit then that’s probably why they're all missing - previous owners getting hacked off and giving up... Mine’s missing too - would like to replace it though! Were they made obsolete?

Do you mean the one down inside the slam panel? Riley had the same problem with his I think and managed to get it free by gently wiggling (technical term) it lose... if it's your nr side one then remove the battery and see if you can get it free with WD40 and a mole wrench (or similar tough bast**d)... I noticed on mine that the jack point on my near side lifts both front and rear wheels and nearly does it on the off side but not quite due to suspension height... from what I have seen of the Passat jack it's identical to the C's if that helps!?! This can be confirmed if anyone wants me to check properly 8)

Were your Recaros factory fitted? Oh, and I notice you now have another C so which one has them?

There is always grey leather too.. would be the easiest one to put in and have looking factory if your plastics are already that colour! It's what I plan to do with mine once I worked through the list of other jobs that need doing first 8)

I prefer the old ones too... Broadspeed aren't a bad company IMO - a lot of people off the seat forum seem to have got their leons from them with out any problems 8) Which FR are you going for mate - petrol or diesel?

Couldn't you use a tow rope and just drag them out of the way? I'd leave a nasty note under the wiper and leave their car in the middle of the road - with maybe a key mark down one (if not both) sides!!! That sux mate - hope you get your car free soon... it does go to show that exercise is no good for you though ;)

My C has did 684m between last feb and this feb!!! And it's just done 965m in the last week and a half - only 35m to go before the 1k service on the new engine and then I can open her up and see what she's really like 8) My X reg 2.0 16V Pug 406 has done 162K and thats on an X plate :shock:

AFAIK the chrome handles that Trimsport sold were only for the early type door handels (same as Pissrat ones) Bally, yours will be early ones too won't they?
