one of the best momo's available IMO... 8) looking forward to catching your C in the flesh at some point over the summer 8) -
Cam chain? Tappets? depends what engine you have - but judging my your avitar it's a 16V or a G...

Had my old alarm removed and the Sigma fitted very neatly by Ian Bannnings in Guildford... all for a very good price! They're just down the road from Guildford train station so you could drop car there AM and train to work for the day to get back to a fully belled up C 8) Ask for Martin if you call in and say his second cousin sent you (me) he should do you a good deal :D EDIT: Looked up their number - 01483 301500
-
there's a braket for it on the left hand side in the boot 8)

This is one cracking C - one of my favorites! Bet you're well pleased with it... so, have you gotr much planned for it or do you plan to keep it the way it is? Oh yeah - welcome to the forum BTW :D

It's coming along nicely... so - whats next ;)
-
So, have you got any pics yet?
-
planning to this to mine when I get my new lens for the offside... I think they would look better with the line between the lights done black too tbh 8)
-
Nice looking 'sat you have there.. I test drove one when I was due a new company car and have now developed quite a liking for them 8)
-
I like these rims a lot... they would look better with black or dark grey centers though 8)
-
Sound like you're a happy man - and must say it's refreshing to know you're not planning to make it manual :) Look forward to seeing your pics... if you're in the s.e then come along to one of our meets and we can sort out a shoot 8)
-
carpoid, hey dude.. they are on their way 8) Sorted them last night - now just a matter of sorting out the nost relevant... keep your eyes open over the next few days ;)
-
Dude.. you need to have a chat with your photographer and sort out a fresh shoot now that it's been valeted - you know he has talent ;)

today I be mostly polishing car parts... have done both front and rear near side callipers (see first pic).. really happy with the way they look now (if a bit small) photo's really don't do them justice! Oh, and a big thanks to Campbel for all your help 8) and then I finished with a bit of an engine bay polish (second pic) I had already done the manifold when it was off during the re-build but it was in need of a once over... my god it's so much easier to do when off the engine, I now have cut, grazed and sore knuckles and fingers to prove it  I also gave the underside of the bonet a good clean, the paint looks better than on the outside now :D offside calipers to do tomorrow.. better pics to follow!
-
tbh.. the lack of rear spoiler makes it look a bit 'special' and it's missing an exhaust... I do klike the wheels, but have seen much better examples! Bummer what happened to your one though chap... hope your C brings you many happy miles 8)

Biggerbigben - Golf sold.. another new project!
Phil K replied to biggerbigben's topic in Members Gallery
This really sux and I'm sorry to hear that you may have to lose the Golf... It would deffo be a good idea to try for some different quotes and see if you can better that renual... just by phoning around I managed to save myself £200 with unlimited milage - my best had been £900 for limited 5K a yearon the C!!! Give Brentacre a shout and have a chat with John 8) -
Nice looking C you have there... what caused the accident with the rocco?
-
The blue C looks saggy to me too... most if not all look like this to me :?
-
save me one though 8)
-
Cool, I have to wait for sufficient funds i.e. payday... but I'm deffo interested in a short boss and q/r 8) If prices can be brought down for a group buy then it would be good to get one started now...?
-
If indeed your water bottle is full the best way to clear blockages is to pull the hoses off the tank and also off the rear wiper and blow some compressed air down it... you can get the cans of air from a photographic shop i.e. Jessops 8) HTH

are there any VAG cars that have rear veiw mirrors that attach to the mount in the same way but are different i.e. different colour plastics or even a TT mirror? might have to look into this as that could be the next big mod  8)
