looks like a top job you've made of cleaning it... damn, makes me realise just how badly my car needs a vatet
-
just a thought - you could get the standard momo one chromed 8)
-
does look good... I've got a shot (somewhere) of a Passat with a similar trailer but chopped at the A piller instead! you wouldn't want to put a tow bar on your C though... :?
-
I'm wanting one of these beauties myself... classy looking h/u with out all the fancy max power type graphics and flashing lights! Very good spec too - need to get a load of stuff on ebay and make me some cash 8)
-
This sounds good... but tbh honest it only takes 10 - 15 minutes to leather the car... plus you get a chance to have a good look at your body work and notice all the new parking dents, scratches and rust spots

It was the 2.0 16V that came with the 'ultra rare' (trying to make myself feel better about my ack of armrest) flat rear benches... It was probably like this on the 2.0 8V too - maybe someone will confirm that? The G60, 18 16V and VR6 had the armrest as standard AFAIK Hope that helps
-
billinjahg60, prob not, looking at the pics.... I want one of these too! Is the short boss and q/r the same combined length as a standard momo hub? Cheers
-
so... what colour are going to go?
-
if it was in regards to binging them back then it was me... sieve boy ;) when you going again? wondering if it's worth making a group thing out of this if there's enough interest?
-
Vary nice - if I was going to go for a mk3 then it'd have to be one of these! How much did you pic it up for if you don't mind me asking?
-
to be honest part of me wants to rip it up and break the lot for parts... still, now that I've come this far I'll stick it out and see how it goes - it can only be a couple of small problems to iron out Also discovered on Sunday that my reverse lights don't work  It's now booked back in on the 31st to sort everything out and have full service...

bristolbaron, can see what you mean but, you wouldn't wanna  -
That is just horrid... I would love to meet the owner and slap him round the back of the head! I wonder if his mum knows what he's been doing to her car?

Sorry to see this matey... best of luck getting it sorted out :? -
Seeing as some of the early 2.0 16V C's had late body / early interior would this mean that they may not have the closing sunroof feature? I'd imagine that some of the late G60 owners could answer this seeing as they have the same late / early mix... (mine does windows and s/roof) My alarm uses the factory closure feature by extending the 'lock' pulse for long enough to mimic the key being held in the lock position 8)

It is a 16V ;) I don't have a vacume pipe on the back of my clock either though so could that mean my ECU is shot? If so would that possibly acount for my other problems?
-
I had a good day... shame it took so long to get there and the traders started packing up so early (sunday) was great to put some more faces to names and had a goooood curry in Ipswich on the way back 8) Have some pics of spotted C's in the show and in thew car park - will post these later once I've had a chance to edit them a bit...
-
Looks good matey - are you planning any mods? The wheels are it's only weak point IMO
-
looks like it could be a photochop.. or am I just too suspicious :?
-
stevemac, no idea at all  I hope it's a vacume pipe cos the alternative will be more hastle knowing my luck :?
-
I hope it doesn't rain in the morrow  benji16v, see you've met my mechanic ;)
-
I really hope tomorrow is better then...
-
Wecome to the forum mate... get some pics of your new ride up 8)
-
Having a similar problem with mine - resetting the clocks at 80 gives me a whole 4.2mpg  I've had engine out though so am wondering if the vacume pipe in the engine bay is off... anyone know where it goes?
-
Just wanted to add - their work is top notch... they even fixed my trim for me when I took Dave down to pic his P up 8) The C will be in there soon...
