I'm still in a limbo state and not sure what to do. I do not want to buy any more products. Could try the WD40 route... Just need to protect it quickly, package it well so to that it can hibernate over winter. What was your first thought Wendy, come on, no secrets here :) Hope it is not the thought of leaving the wings in living room, and store my girlfriend in the garage ! Somehow I know this would not go well ^^

Guys, due to some unexpected expenses (partially brought to me by my lovely car) I will not be able to swap/paint two front wings on my car this year. It is going to have to wait till spring of 2013. Now here come my problem... These two wings I have are in few places sanded down to bare metal. Since acquiring them they were stored in my living room (which caused a lot of drama between me and my girlfriend). There is virtually no rust on them at all, maybe tiny little spots here and there, but can sand it down easily. Thing is I was very politely asked (guess by who) to put them in garage instead! No heating there and a lot of damp. I am terrified that the moment I will put them in garage these will start to rust! What is out there I can quickly and cheaply do, to stop them from rusting once stored for next few months? Is there any product I can buy to apply some sort of protective layer? Would I have to prime them first. I am looking at the quickest and cheapest solution so it will keep them secure for next few months and then some professional hands can do their magic on them. Remember there are few spots of bare metal on them - so something need to be done to protect it. I just do not want to ruin perfectly fine front wings in my possession. Thanks for help

Been also following this. Website above is completely jammed with people and apparently doesn't work anymore as there was too many people connecting to it. You can see it live on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkJ5ItzEq3M&feature=player_embedded This project today had problems right from beggining... radio problems and now it's been called off due to high winds. Next time... we will see if humnan being can go supersonic :)

I have a feeling this is already happening. I can drive for months without seeing one. Basically the only Corrado I ever see is the one I drive.

This are low light shots (without the flash!). That is why they seem "dark". Normally, flash would kick-in but it was specifically disabled to test how good the sensor and camera brains is when taking pictures when there is not enough light available. Settings are not the same... but setting was left on "auto" to make sure the camera will apply correct setting to light conditions. I bet if you would change settings manually then all pictures would be similar.

Seems that Lumia's camera (low light) is not only fantastic on the tv ads - but in the real world too. Quite impressed so far, check this out: ... and source to full article: http://www.engadget.com/2012/09/26/lumia-920-low-light-shootout/

Resident evil 6,anyone played it yet then?
guildmage replied to corrado_sunderland's topic in Off-topic Chat
Not played yet, though I will be buying it as soon as the price will drop - meanwhile awaiting "Xcom: EU" eagerly! Played RE1, RE2 and RE5 and I am a great fan of the series... only zombies that are truly scary are in RE ofc. So far reading the reviews and some feedback I have a bit of mixed feelings, but one thing is for sure you are getting a good, solid amount of entertainment with RE6. Here is a nice movie review made by IGN: http://uk.ign.com/articles/2012/10/01/resident-evil-6-review ps. Would love RE series back to it's roots, of a horror survival game rather than action packed shoot-out.. but hey I would buy it straight away if not for Xcom game... RE6 will have to get in line ^^ -
Well I have a spare wings - and one wing came with that plastic. I am at work now and I am unsure if it's passenger or drivers side. I'll double check if the one I have is the one you need I'll post to you... Remind me by PM, and will check tonight.

Just came back from weekend in London and while there we spotted this little gem outside our B&B: It may not be something extremely unique, but I haven't seen one in real life for ... well I can't remember seeing one at all, so was quite entertained by it. It looked very nice! It was gone by morning tho :(

Did someone not say... "Best way to go bankrupt in style is to buy a Corrado" ? :)

Thanks to Jim I also found the watch I really like: ... only change I made was adding a simple black Nato strap. Loving it :)

Hmm, just stumbled upon this while trolling some websites. Read it twice and could not really believe it, have a look: http://www.androidauthority.com/iphone-5-vs-galaxy-s3-benchmarking-which-one-is-better-117284/ .. but seriously thought my intention is NOT to start another world war over this. Just stumbled upon this article and decide to share... so just take it easy please. I was just under impression that quad-core CPU will make a mince meat out of iPhone dual-core CPU. I suppose we will see "real" tests when SIII will get it's Jelly Beans Android upgrade - which surprisingly is already rolled out in Poland - but not just ready here in UK! ps. This is mainly benchmark test of the CPU and nothing else.. so yeah take it easy!

Well then after cleaning it all up, there are no dents but still the paint is damaged and bumber scratched. Will have to be that way for now, will tackle it next year. CCTV although exist there was nothing there. I have no clue?! I'm sure it happened at work car park... but then some people are arseho*&% and you just cant help it. I was actually about something new that happened to my car: - new wishbone bushes, - new front top mounts + bearings, - new front shocks + roll bar links, - and finally full wheel alignment, Car feels different in a good way. Had a bad day at work and also was raining so much whole day - so didn't do much of "feel good" driving today. Maybe I should? Tomorrow, tho, I am going to Wakefield so will check it out on my little journey.

Hey, same here. Only car and a daily car for work and pleasure :) When stuck in traffic, wish I had something like Yaris or Polo but when when road is clear it's amazing feel of being in Corrado. From as much as I heard 16v is worst in traffic due to short gear ratio. In a very slow traffic I can never properly drive in 1st gear... it's a looooot of clutch pressing, depressing all the time :( As the car always seems to drive too fast (in comparison to other cars) even when acceleration pedal not pressed at all. It's weird...

Just so everyone is aware. On iphone when setting up gmail. Dont use built in gmail POP! Just select Exchange and hook up your gmail account. It will then sync your gmail contacts, calendars and emails perfectly fine with iphone ;) Also safari stinks big time even on iOS devices. I thought whole world is using Chrome by now (or Opera mini on smartphones).

I do like them too. They look amazing. What are these wheels? It is truly awesome what you are doing with this car. When you posted 1st picture, I was like meh! Your last photo... wow I'm speechless, keep it up man! I'm liking this car a lot.

Funny, I drove for like 5 mins behind it.. but cannot remember. Have it recorded on car-cam tho. Only thing I remembered was red 16v badge on the back ^^

Hmm it's strange you are having so much problems with faulty SIM. Just ring them up from different phone and say you have damaged your phone and in effect SIM got fried too. They should send you working replacement SIM straight away. I once left my SIMcard in Poland, rang O2 on arrival to UK, and next day new SIM (same phone number ofcourse) was in my postbox. I suppose it depends if you are Contract or PayAsYouGo customer.

... and battery last 7 days. I still have one ericcson on top-up as emergency phone (w810)

Haha yeah one could say that... but then iPhone build quality is also amazing. Somehow my Galaxy SII feel more fragile than Iphone 4. Would than mean iPhones are not only for hipster designers but also for Bob's the builders ? :bonk:

Green 16V in Leeds, around 6pm, near stadium. Are you here? Was following you for quite a while... Have you got standard engine? When you put the foot down overtaking that bus, had some problems to catch up :thumbleft: You seem to enjoyed yourself.. which is great cause I was enjoying the drive too.
