  1. well unless where like u and running LSD we all have problem with putting the power down without wheel spin from standstill including myself but then i prefer that much more interesting and less boring :D
  2. well then ur just a show off lol    :D

    grinding brakes

mate it can just be from the discs cutting into the pads as grooveddiscs tend to do that especially when u press down hard :D also when bedding them in they make a bit of noise
  4. yes thats meant to be connect to the signal pick up from the No1 spark lead. When they did a service they should have changed that sensor over form the old leads to the new ones :) its easy as the leads pop out from the top as i found out doing my mates ones Now you dont have that sensor ur car might run a bit funny p.s the sensor is a platic ring that the spark cable runs through and has a connectiong coming of it
  5. thats only from stand still otherwise
  6. lol hell no my bro's polo GT isnt getting the good stuff the 5.1 is for the corrado ;) ;) :D
  7. Mate I have no idea as i dont think Guy has taken his corrado up the 1/4 mile and i dont know if he has any intentions of doing but i think if he can control the wheel spin the car would be very quick as its has a crap load of torque there
  8. Phat would you say a basic 12v relay wired up in the correct form would sort this out?? bit like a NOS kit which comes on at WOT??? Would this also mean the RED battery led inside the car would come on???
  9. Yes it is recomended especially is you like to use the top end of the rev band like i do :D The plug to empy the fluid is at the back/bottom of the gearbox where the two drive shafts are attached to. The re-fill plug is at the fornt of the gearbox and once fluid starts to pour back out means the gearbox is full :) . If you need any advise etc just pm me :)
  10. I tell u something the VR6 supercharge sound is amazing and ive had the nicest pleasure of find out what a 311bhp Corrado Storm goes like ;) and i can tell u there is nothing slow about that car lol But when you speak to Guy about it he would tell you its not worth the hassel which i do agree with his points and if your thinking about doing this be prepared for a possible massive money pit
  11. all i can see is that its been smoothed out
  12. Thats low but ive seen lower   Corrados always look cool this low :D p.s lovely looking car
  13. yeah they look like 7.5 at the front and 9 at the back also Majik drop that car i can still see suspension over the wheel lol
  14. I wont even ask what u get upto on your nights out on the piss lol
  15. yeah have a word with John like Henny mentions or Give Vience at stealth racing a call as they are the only two guys I would recomend from what i hear from people Sadly the guy that built my engine no longer works on cars so cant recomend him lol
  16. Sorry have to add my 2 p's worth here I can understand where everyone is coming from and "markgolf" but i dont see the point breaking whats looks like a good vr6 sample just because you want the engine when in true fact that engine will prob need a rebuild in the next coming years and where you could easily pick up a 2.8 vr engine and have that bored out like Phatvr mentions. As for your mate who wants the shell there is crap loads of corrado shells everywhere from people siptting them etc just because they have picked up a cheap corrado and need a few bits and in the end the main shell is sent to the crusher as no one as interest in them I just think the way people are picking corrados up and just breaking them the way they are is wrong. I could understand if the body damage wasnt repairable or if it had been hit by rot but otherwise i cant see the point of breaking a corrado just my 2p's worth p.s. i know im not one to talk considering all the work ive done to mine but ive stuck to my no matter what damage its received from people hitting it  and i do think its been a waste of money modifing, considering corrado does look best standard but then it always comes out looking better/different lol   :D
  17. Hello guys Well last firday as my brother pulled into our drive he managed to snap the handbrake cable clean (years of corroding did it) which i had the lovely job of changing lol Anyway once everything had been replaced we went to take the car for a test run and we found that we had no brake pedal responses or feel. It was like pushing on air and the car did not want to stop which isnt good  Trying to find advise to why this would happen all of a sudden I got speaking to Henny and he recomended change of brake fluid before looking at the more expensive things like servo etc. Anyway yesterday I got my finger out and decided to change the fluid on the car (god was the old fluid horrible dark brown/black with crap in it) and put in some nice new ATE DOT4 fluid. and GOD WHAT A DIFFERENCE its made  The car has never had such great brakes in its life, not only are they more responsive but the feedback and feel is amazing you know exactly whats happening everywhere :D So my advise is take 30 mins and bleed those brakes if you havent done it for a while as it does make a huge difference. Next is the corrado but got to do that anyway as ive got my new special calipers ;) to go on and braided lines ;) This would be up there with cheap easy jobs that makes a huge difference along with changing the gearbox oil which i do everyyear on my car :D due to my silly arse driving lol Again big thanx to Henny :D

    Hose split! Help!

mate those hose go like nothing :( thats whay i had them all changed at the same time
  19. its the chip mate you need to get the ECU mapped to your car as it sounds like that ECU is picking up on the air going into the system and fueling more than you need to as your not running force induction It would be better of to swope your ECU system over to a 2L 8v digi system and having that remapped
  20. yep get a couple of cans as it never does any harm :) just make sure you dont lose any of the little washers lol
  21. coullstar- its not that hard to do but its time consuming i would suggest to set about 1/2 day aside to do it all properly :D also readin the fact your doing a track day soon i would stongly recomend you do a complete service to make sure the engine/compnents is in the best condition for the day just my 2p's worth
  22. that takes me back TWICE!!!!!!! lol ive had my car resprayed twice and twice ive seen it like that :( but I know you Lee the car will come out mint :D the new euro look will look great ;) lol
