  1. Aqua blue for 2 reasons. One; (yes im biased) its one of the nicest colours on a Corrado. Two. Its the original colour! Goodluck with it mate. Im thinking of doing the same thing, only i wont do it until i know i can find someone who is confident it will be like a factory finish, but wont cost the earth.
  2. another good link> http://www.stormloader.com/groupb/gallery.html
  3. im gonna have to dig out my old videos of the old days of rallying and get them onto DVD. Watchin that film just made me realise how awesome them thing were!
  4. just watchin that video now! Couldnt watch it at work, plus have a much quicker connection at home. Its great watching them old Group B cars. takes you back too! nice thread ben16v
  5. the fronts are independant on my 94 VR6. If you switch the rears on, the fronts come on automatically.
  6. Group B Rally cars were awesome, and my first experience of going to watch any rally stages was during this era! Remember them OTT 6R4s and 205 T16's! What about the RS200's! What an era that was!

    whats this?

Is exactly what i was going to say.
  8. Its really saddening to read a story like this. Just makes you feel sad for the families left behind and everyone that knew the man. Things like this just strengthen the case to bringing back hanging and capital punishment. The scum that did this should be publicly stoned to death. (as should those 3 racist to$$ers from East London that killed a white man for no reason. The judge said its not racially motivated. I dont agree.) see thread>> http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... 125#371125
  9. Thanks. Its good to hear things like that when i had to spend the amount i did to get all the little things sorted, as Jim knows! When i picked it up he said he took it for a road test, it flies and that its one of the quicker ones hes driven! Coming from "Him" thats a massive compliment.
  10. im interested in the gauges and rear wiper, but dont know much about the rear wiper conversion. what is it? I have Lupos on the front. Similar sort of thing?
  11. i miss my MKII and wish i could have kept it along side the VR Corrado. Would never swap my VR for any golf. The corrado fits like a glove. You feel at one with the car at all times. As for which is it "more" like, i would agree that its the MKII.
  12. this site is hilarious, and has given me loads of laughter... the names they pull out.... Shitsubish... honda shitvic....suzuki crapoocino...rally chavalier! fan-farkin-tastic!
  13. lol: i just looked at another page on the site... http://www.barryboys.co.uk/phpBB2/viewt ... 38411b6e94
  14. lol! we got a pug 306 near us, with them weird exhausts coming out at two different angles. its looks like a silly joke! Well, it does make me laugh every time i see it.
  15. remember also that there is this scheme whereby you can go on a shitty driving course / tutorials or some bollox like that. You opt for that as they think it will make you a safer driver, and they then dont give you points. worth a try i guess. it only works in some cases, and depends on the speed you were over by. good luck with it mate.
  16. Lets face it... Just the word "Storm" makes it more desirable!
  17. tough call! especially without knowing all the facts!
  18. What a machine! Lovely. Bring it to the UK sometime so we can all check it out! nice work mate.
  19. It is ugly in that colour. Midnight Blue, Guards Red or Black looks the bomb! To be fair, the Beemer is also an awesome machine. Personally i would have the Porker.
  20. 928 without a doubt. A true all time supercar, and remember these cars were some 80 - 90 grand new. It was Porsches flagship, it came fully loaded, and the GTS was the perfect finished article, after all the creases were ironned out of the S and S4 etc. Decent GTS's are now exchanging hands for around 20 grand! In general, they have all been owned by loaded lawyers, accountants, doctors etc.... As a result, all their lives, they have been pampered and only gone back to main dealers for any little niggles as well as Service etc.
  21. They were doin that as well! I just wish it was on camera! Too funny i tell ya! the F@*ks!
  22. my advice is to talk to H100VW Gavin. He sorted all my lighting problems out on the VR, has lots of info on the subject, and is very helpful.
  23. i had one when i was getting the car MOT'd last year... a couple of geezers came in with a Calibra that looked like a heap... They are checking my car all over. One looked like Fifty Cent / Ali G, the other looked like a thin version of BA Baracus, and here's what they said to me... and i quote... "Dem bitches a go creeyzee when dat spoiler goow up aan daown yu kno! Bitches a love dem spoiler and ting! Deese Corrado are ROUGH na maan!" And im standing there wanting to piss my pants laffing at this geezer talking like hes Ali bloody G! (And hoping that they dont decide they're having the car cos its nicer than theirs!)
