  1. Was it just me, or was anyone else a tad underwhelmed by the episode. Literally no detail around anything that was done. Considering how much was done, it could’ve had the a whole series just for the Corrado. I mean, going from the standard engine to a turbo onto the standard engine, to blowing up two turbos, and then as if by magic, a totally different engine swap overnight. I love the program, but so disappointed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. Done, and a thanks from me too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  3. Quickest car I’ve owned is my current 2007 Mercedes CLS63. 525bhp, puts a smile on my face every time I give it even just half beans. Only bugger with it is it is so quick, you can’t give it full beans for very long. Fastest I’ve been in is a Tesla. Most interesting, not really sure to be honest, so many cars with some many different reasons on why they might be “interesting”. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  4. Sounds good to me [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  5. I’ve never had 15’s on mine, so I’ve no idea what stock feels like. When I bought it it had 17’s, and they were very crashy and harsh in my opinion, and the 16” Speedlines i run now feel fine. I did also have some 16” Azev C’s in between which also felt decent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  6. Did we get enough interest in the end? I’m happy with the loom as originally done. Would be a shame if it didn’t happen because of trying to tweak the spec. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  7. Great stuff. Let’s hope we can hit the magic number [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. I’d be up for a loom if another group buy was kicked off Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. Passed its MOT today with just advisories for corrosion on the near and offside rear brake pipes. Happy with that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. Looks nice and tidy. Are you staying with the original colour for the respray? Any other plans? p.s. Is that a Bolf sat behind it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. Thanks. Yeah, got the stickers from eBay to freshen up the old tired ones. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. Ah, this was the one I posted in the “spotted” thread 6 years back. Would be ace to see it brought back to life Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  13. Yeah, that’s the one. Typical that I wasn’t in mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  14. Saw a white VR6 on the M1 northbound leaving the motorway at Leicester. Reg number started K3. Bibbed my horn and gave them a thumbs up (I was in my silver CLS63). Anyone on here? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Yeah, that’s a result, nice one. Mine is booked in for its MOT on Monday, always makes me nervous.

Looks very tidy. Any issues with the tint that dark on the lights? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  17. That looks proper tasty being that clean [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  18. Yeah agree with that. When the handbrake switch on mine came adrift, the light was permanently on, rather than off. Does tend to suggest it has been disconnected, possibly due it being broken off, and being a quick fix to the light being on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  19. Do you have a pic of the box under the seat, any labels/part numbers on it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  20. I can’t really take the credit for the machine polishing, i did get someone in to do that, along with applying a ceramic coating to finish it off. I just need to keep on top of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  21. Yeah, I keep thinking about the caps after the previous discussions on your thread when you got the same wheels. The non-symmetrical nature of the logo kind of puts my teeth on edge… lol. I’m not OCD, but the wobble as the logo rotates could push me over the edge! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  22. Thanks Graham. Struts are the JOM ones for the mk3 Golf. Was looking at possibly trying more of an arrangement like the Audi TT has on the hinges themselves. All depends when I get round to fitting as I have the JOM ones already. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  23. Thanks Not got any pics of the inside, but can get some tomorrow. Grey leather seats and door cards. Think it must’ve been a black cloth interior original as the dash, console and side trims are all black. Stitching has seen better days where the warning triangle goes in the back seat. Not many mods, non stock lowered struts (took off the coilovers that were originally fitted when I got it as they were rock hard and bouncy). Stuff I’ve done so far 16” Jetta Cup Speedlines SWG Scuttle Panel 288mm front Disc upgrade Braided front and rear brake lines Tubular manifold with heat shield wrapping After market exhaust, possibly Jetex. Decat pipe in garage that I’ve never used. Lupo wipers. Wind deflectors Clear tinted rear light clusters. Still got the first aid kit in the hump. Think that is about it. Rest is stock. Still to do…. Gas strut bonnet stay still to fit. Short shifter still to fit. Sound proof panels for under the bonnet still to fit Stainless steel petrol tank straps still to fit Teves 20 ABS setup still to fit Engine bay pic Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  24. Other than some stone chips on the bonnet, and a couple rust bubbles, she scrubs up quite well. Wrap in the fogs/indicators needs redoing, and the wheels although not bad, could probably do with a refurb. I can only assume Covid has hit refurb prices, as the cost per wheel has gone up since the last time I got some done (quoted £70 each for 16” wheels, which seems a lot) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
