  1. Yeah, that's fair enough [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. You can get the 16 pin to 2 plug converter cables, I've got one as I wanted to cover all bases. The comms/protocol is still the same. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  3. Car looks really nice. The grill strikes me as a bit marmite, you either love it or hate it. Not digging it myself to be honest, looks a bit Seat Ibiza. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  4. It has the 16 pin connector. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  5. It does, my VR is obd1. I can send mine to you if you wanted to try before you Buy (you'd have to send it back of course .... lol) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  6. I've got vagcom/vcds but also have one of these that I leave in the car, not that funky, but reads the engine ecu fault codes no problem (vagcom will do all the other car ecu's as well if they support it), but is good enough in most cases. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252413629143 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  7. Looks very nice Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. sounds like the speed sensor feed has been disconnected/chopped during the strip out.
  9. Buy one for £30 off the bay, use it, sell it. You'll end up having paid used price in the end. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. Could be the sender, or connection at the sender. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. I can also vouch for Tomi, I've had wheels and headlights from him. Arrived quicker than most uk sellers! [emoji846] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  13. Have you vagcom'd the car to confirm the issue? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  14. From what I recall, It's up behind the switch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. When I bought my vr, it was the same as yours. Once I took the under dash panel off, it became clear the control module was missing altogether. Bought one from someone on here, and the spoiler worked perfectly once the module was plugged in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  16. Lots of tuning options for the 1uzfe engine. The vvti 3uzfe is better straight out the box, but less tuning options. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  17. If the rear brakes are similar to the Lexus, they are pretty simple to deal with. Unless someone had been driving around with the handbrake on, the shoes never wear out, so very unlikely to need changing unless they've been binding. This is a link to a tutorial I did on the Lexus arrangement that might help http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/tutorials/article/125-gs300-rear-brake-pad-disc-change/ Hmmm, link in tapatalk doesn't seem to work, but if you copy it and paste into browser it works fine. 18. Hi all, I've got a tubular manifold on my VR, and it has blown the gasket between the CAT and the adaptor to the manifold. The studs are past their best so looking for the adaptor and spring bolts shown in the pic below. I'd like to just do replacement so I do t have to deal with sheared bolts. If anyone has one for sale, or knows where to get one, I'd appreciate it. Googling, the manifold looks the same as a supersprint item, but could always be a cheaper copy. 19. To be honest mate, whilst the install is awesome and I'd love it, I need to keep the back seats and boot useable [emoji45] Someone is going to get an amazing deal, like others have said though, do something to keep it. I'd grab a cheap breaker Rado, stick the sound system in the back, a BBQ under the bonnet. When the weather is good, pop open the trunk and hood and have a "one off" summer entertainment centre [emoji16][emoji109] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  20. I'm guessing it is a typo. If not, I'll take it at the asking price :)
  21. Ditto the plug lead arcing. Start the car up in the dark, it'll be easy to see if it is arcing.
  22. Thanks Sean. Thats what I thought. It was partly the improved performance, but also the aero style that sold the Lupo conversion for me. I think the TT ones are aero as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  23. I don't think standard Lupo arms are the aero flat blades are they? Are the E30 ones flat blades? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  24. Yup, two parts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
