  1. Same for me. Error message just says web server is down. Which it obviously isn't if it is working via a web browser. Weird.
  2. I should be good for that date. Will confirm later [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  3. I’ve got a supersprint one on mine, which has seemed decent enough so far. No idea on the best place to get them, but you can get them on eBay . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  4. Yeah, they do rest on them. They are like a hook shape, so should hold the card to the door.
  5. I’m in Hampshire, and dependent on date, would be available. Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  6. I had a golf switch in mine for a while and had no issues either.
  7. Where are you located? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. Damn, in Wilmslow today as well, wish I'd driven up now as I'd have taken these :( Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. this is what the early cards look like.... http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/1/2946/321/7362660003_large.jpg https://images.honestjohn.co.uk/imagecache/file/fit/730x700/media/5644760/Volkswagen%20Corrado%20(4).jpg Not sure if you could cut the door card to take the handles, but the window switch holes would still be present regardless.
  10. No, they are completely different. these are late ones (mirror switch built in)..... http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/DUQAAOSwgQ9V4DsE/s-l300.jpg and these are early ones (mirror switch is separate) .... https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/22AAAOSwEK9TxT1D/s-l300.jpg
  11. My late VR had early leather door cards when I bought it. Got late leather cards now, but the early ones meant it had two sets of window switches (one set on the later pods fitted, and ones in the door panel itself). The mirror switch was never connected up. They were ok, but they used to niggle me in the end. I switched to late cloth door cards while I waited for some leather ones to come along. Handle design is much nicer on the newer cards as well, the old handles looked very dated in comparison.
  12. Same here, early liners on a late VR. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Help!

I had a similar issue when one of my plug leads was arcing across to the edge of the manifold gasket. Bending the edge over so it was further clear of the lead cured the problem. Running the engine in the dark and looking down each plug well, meant the arcing was obvious to see (it did it on both sets of plug leads I've got) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  16. Thanks Jim, yeah she was a decent size for sure. Not quite needing to resort to eating my dead pets, prefer supermarket fodder....lol.
  17. Went into the garden this morning and found one of the Koi on the lawn. Not sure if she'd been spooked by the thunderstorms, or over enthusiastic spawning (she was full of eggs). Sadly, it was too late to save it :( No prize winning koi, but will miss her none the less. Weighed in at a decent 15 lbs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  18. Yeah, that's fair enough [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  19. You can get the 16 pin to 2 plug converter cables, I've got one as I wanted to cover all bases. The comms/protocol is still the same. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  20. Car looks really nice. The grill strikes me as a bit marmite, you either love it or hate it. Not digging it myself to be honest, looks a bit Seat Ibiza. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  21. It has the 16 pin connector. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  22. It does, my VR is obd1. I can send mine to you if you wanted to try before you Buy (you'd have to send it back of course .... lol) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  23. I've got vagcom/vcds but also have one of these that I leave in the car, not that funky, but reads the engine ecu fault codes no problem (vagcom will do all the other car ecu's as well if they support it), but is good enough in most cases. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252413629143 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  24. Looks very nice Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
