If anybody is still wondering what happened to these heatshields, the latest news is, I hopefully have the final shield ready to fit to DEL's car. I've been in touch with DELVR6 recently and he can come over for the fitting this week unless something crops up. DEL???

Did they have a heated screen? And I wouldn't call them scarce. You can find them on Autotrader most of them time.

Which skid marks are you referring to :lol:

The how to guide for replacing the gearbox oil is for the VR6. How does this differ for other engines? Are the plugs in different places? I've asked dinkus, but he's not sure on this. This issue needs clarifying and adding to the how to guide.

I've had a look at this clip and I reckon it comes with the switch.........so yes VR6, at least £40

My passenger seat handle was missing, so I made one up at work and painted it Black. Now there's a thought, I could make a couple using polished stainless 8)

My passenger side switch clip is missing so the switch sat up slightly. I dabbed a spot of super glue on the highest side, but only a spot, that way you can remove it again if need be.

It doesn't need changing yet but when I do I'll make notes and take pics.

I'd like to think that VAG would make absolutely sure that any component that has their name on it would be passed as top quality regardless of who makes it.

Not a 'buzzer', they sound crap....................why not go with a 'beeper', it's alot more up-to-date. I know what I'd sooner hear 8)
