    Yeah, pretty poor show I thought. My housemate (who's the spitting image of Plato) was about ready to kick the TV off the wall. The worst part was the quote from Matt Neal before the final race; something along the lines of "I'm here to win races for Team Halfords". What a load of BS.

    The Haynes manual lists running pressure of the KE-Motrinic system at between 6.1 and 6.6 bar (88.5 to 99.7 psi).

    Firstly, the fuel pump will only stop after priming while the engine is not running. When the engine's running, the fuel pump should be buzzing. Secondly, I can't believe you're driving the car with a problem of this magnitude! Get the dashboard out and have a proper look at the wiring. It's not as big a job as you expect.

    Replied to PM... Does yours have any optional additions? Mine only has cruise control as an extra, but I can't see the end of the wiper stalk behind the steering wheel on yours.

    I'm interested to know what you reckon a bargain price is. I ask because I've just bought a 45k mile, 53-plate, fsh, 180bhp, Leon Cupra. I think I got a pretty good deal too.

    I'd say that's about a grand over-priced. Also, I'd like to see the 'chip that can produce "350+bhp" from an otherwise standard BAM engine!

    I have to say, I'm quite surprised. I mean, 17-year old 16v Corrados aren't the sort of motor you'd expect to find getting nicked very often...are they? I kind of assume that even thieves would turn their nose up at mine!

    Need any parts? I've got loads of Mk2 stuff to get rid of now my parents have sold their house. None of it may be any use to you, but it's worth an ask....and, if I've got it, it'll be free.

    I'll be able to let you know soon, I think. I've been offered a Leon Cupra at a price I really can't refuse...and I only have space for one car. I'd like to keep the Corrado ideally, as I've had it for four years and it's been good to me. That and the fact that it's worth almost nothing, even with full tax and MOT.

    What you need is an air-powered impact gun. That'd make short work of those bolts.
