    cheers, i'm buying the wheels from rimstyle so they should be ok with fitting whatever tyre i'm after I just bought my 9s from rimstyle, they wouldnt put 205s on mne and said they didnt stock 205s either so they fitted 215 40s
  4. It all depends on what code is on the head. If im right, the early 16v kr golfs had large inlet ports and smaller exhaust ports and then near 1990 they changed it to smaller inlet ports and larger exhaust ports. Going by this, they may not actually be any differnce between a 9A and a KR head of the same year Think the codes are 051 and 027 IIRC

  6. Just need a few parts to finish. Waiting on a BBM head flange from g-werks and then its back on the road after 3months! Heres the cold feed taped into the brake duct for trial fit
  7. i run water injection. used to get instant drops of 10degrees in charge temp and combined with a front mount it was usually same if not lower than ambient. This was all with a diy kit i made for about £20. I now have "devils own" water injection but yet to try it

  9. mines adjusted about half way. If its adjusted too much the charger will be boosting against a closed plate and prob blow the seals. Mine seemed to boost up more aggressively but i only adjusted 1 part of the linkage
  10. The fitting screws into the block by a 14mm threaded fitting, then the hose pushes on
  11. Thanks for all the comments! The charger is not as loud now ive attached the pipework to it. Borbets arrived today, guna fit them after work and post pics later 8)
  12. Ita NOT the warm feed for airbox. Just block it up. Im guessing still that someone has used a mixture of 1.8 bits on the 2l metehead either top plate or airbox. You could always remove airbox and take a pic for us to be completely certain

  14. Cold feed It runs!!!! Boost hoses disconnected though and parents went mental about the noise :lol:
  15. Finally got the IC and oil cooler plumbed up and the bumper back. Bumper painted My custom hole drilling
  16. has someone in the past changed the induction plastic pipe and fitted 1 with only 1 port instead of 2? it normally goes on a "shut off" valve that goes into airbox
  17. Thats a big airleak with the pipe disconnected! shoiuld go onto bottom of plastic induction tube i think?
  18. Just finished changing the tailpipe from crap style to upswept letterbox And heres a pic of my front grill although not finished
  19. Yeah heard the horror storys. Ive bought an ic fitting kit of ebay which uses alloy pipe and silicone joiners, and il prob put a support off the outlet pipe to take any weight off it.
  20. I converted my mates mk2 and done all the wiring myself using standard ecu. Only thing i didnt get working was rev counter
