think pumps push well over 5 bar the fpr brings it down
-
CHAIN SHOULDNT MAKE A DIFFERENCE EITHERWAY YOU PUT IT ON? oops caps sorry
-
MFA readings i used to get about 22 mpg on long run, normally about 12 on a short 1 mile journey to work
-
does it have a black/red wire? looks like rpm signal
-
depends if you have the twin pump set up?
-
did you make sure all the cam caps went back on in the correct order? they are numbered
-
i recently did a chip fitting guide for g60, the ecu may be same lay out.
-
Start by checking you have a spark, its prob not related but always good to start there. Do thsi by removing the main coil lead from the dizzy, dangel the end near metal and crank engine over and see if a spark jumps from lead. DONT HOLD ONTO IT THOUGH WHILE DOING THIS. i SUPPOSE IT COULD BE TIMING RELATED, LIKE THE DIZZYS LOOSE OR A PULLEY HAS SLIPPED? Opps caps
-
my boost levels got lower after the FMIC but mine is a tad on the large side
-
9a is perfect option, just fit the 1.8 cams. although the ABf is taller, i expect as long as your engine mounts are ok it should foul the bonnets
-
i have no other chips only m'caine
-
car is currently N/A, didnt really notice much if any difference when fitting the abfs after removing krs. Maybe there was a fraction more torque at say 3k but hardly noticable
-
that black is just a earth that runs along side the ecu feed wire that prevents interference
-
less overlap means more boost
-
maybe loose or leaking hose on the throttlebody? idle screw missing or something? car making good boost?
-
40k rebuilds on 68mm pulley aswell i believe
-
sounds just like the boost being re-circ'd, iow corrado g60s did this. Shame new owner is bouncing it off the limiter in this vid but you should get the idea of the noise
-
its prob not worth doing to be honest, i just did it as i was bored at work  id stick with a 42mm 1 all day long
-
cool, was thinking rubber or something
-
I believe these are no longer avilable from vag so whats the best solution?
-
yep when i fitted it but it did another when i updated firmware
-
well i updated the firmware on it yesturday then it calibrated itself, then it starting giving those readings? il try put a short log up later
-
yeah its a rough "get you goin" chip. running 440cc lime greens. Seems its more 11 on idle, 14ish on throttle, 10 on full throttle. Remember this is still without charger so N/A
-
ok il give that a try 8)
-
had a fiddle with the laptop plugged into the gauge and into the lc-1 and now the gauge seems to be working properly  about 12ish on idle going to about 10 on acceleration then round to 02 when i lay off the pedal
