    i felt an improvement over a piper 285 with the shrick
  2. first thing id do is remove the coil lead from dizzy, place near metal, then crank engine and look for spark from lead to metal
  3. if you mean the plastic shroud bits, i had 1 of them drop into the engine, it just broke up and got spat out :shock: :clap:
  4. you should be using new "o" rings, then tap the injectors in. Top tip to removing them is do it when engines warm, the injectors pull out easier then

  6. the 9as didnt come with 50mm inlets only later mk2 golfs.
  7. can you not adjust it on the co pot?
  8. the 1.8s didnt have the circlip to hold the injectors in, they just push fit in. Just tap the injectors into there cups using a flat blade screw driver and hammer being carefull not to damage the seals

  10. the kit itself seems very good, it has all quick release fittings and a very good qaulity pump. I diy'd a kit once using a headlight washer pump and cold start injector, used to drop inlet temps instantly by about 8degrees, only prob was the injector used to sieze :lol: heres a short vid of the devils own injector working on my system
  11. yeah id start at isv clean, although mine does this and i have new vag bts and no isv :cuckoo:
  12. im running a devils own injection kit cost £175. i say running, i havent used it yet as my charger went pop

  14. Air lock? is it boiling over? black sensor is temp gaugecould always swap it for the blue 1 momenterally with just ignition on when it shows hot and see what happens on the gauge
  15. I see theres an exhaust cam on ebay. listing states that members of corrado forum can get the chainwheels. I used to be able to get them but the guy who did them for me doesnt have the correct tool to re-cut the chainwheels anymore. Lift for each cam 9A Inlet 8.9mm KR inlet 9.6mm KR exhaust cam 10.2mm ABF inlet 10.6mm Im using ABF cams now as the more lift is best suited for forced induction

  19. Just been looking at wideband gauges, i have a narrow band gauge at the moment with an extra lambda sensor fitted in the exhaust. Whats the best set up to go for? also whats the best bargain?
